You really think she was a traitor?
Yes, she was 100% in lockstep with his program, and she knew this was coming. So she blew up the govt when she knew a perilous moment had arrived in Canada's history. = traitorus bitch. Smith as well.

She resigned because he wanted her to take the fall for the budget overrun.

I don't think its that, but she tabled a budget last year and the deficit is gonna be 50% higher. She should not have waited until the update to call that out and in any case she is the finance minister and the proper thing to do would have been to offer the PM her resignation. After all he was gonna create an important cabinet position for her. Part of the job of ministers is to take the fall, its called ministarial reasponsibilty. You take the fall for the govt. Sometimes you end up on the back bench for a bit but if you have done your job and are not to blame the leader will get you back into cabinet ASAP.

This is not meant as an insult to Israel.

Canada should have done what Israel does and dole out money to US politicians. In retrospect, it was wreckless of us not to have done it. I am not talking about vast sums of money, just enough to avoid getting shaken down for money.

One edit: I just did a check, and it seems Cadbury's Dairy Milk is made at the Cadbury plant in Toronto. I thought this be the case, because US-made chocolate typically tastes like wax mixed with vomit.

Yeah sure, bro. Keep dreaming.

Let me know when China builds something that doesn't fall apart in 2 weeks :D
"Chinese junk" is just a myth now. Yes they do make some cheap trash, but they also make lot of super high quality things. I have 2 Chinese phones, one from 2018 and one from 2021 working perfectly. And my new Lenovo laptop is chinese and pretty damn good. My Chinese Ebikes and scooters have all been quite amazing. China is the best manufacturer on the planet right now. To believe anything else is just a dellusion that will not serve us well in the longer run .

Convicted Felon Trump has also threatened to raise the tariffs if Canada retaliates.
Does he think that we should take the gut punches from him and ass kiss him like his cult followers?
Yes, of course he does.
There are no winners until the loser knows he has lost.
If you don't make them bow and scrape, how do you know you won?

He paused, and for a moment assumed again his air of a schoolmaster questioning a promising pupil: ‘How does one man assert his power over another, Winston?'

Winston thought.
‘By making him suffer,' he said.

‘Exactly.
By making him suffer.
Obedience is not enough.
Unless he is suffering, how can you be sure that he is obeying your will and not his own?
Power is in inflicting pain and humiliation. "
