LMAO Liz Truss is a moron.

She resents being told that she crashed the UK economy with her multitude of tax cuts. And it was BoE Governor Andrew Bailey who balked at financing her budget. Had he done so most of the money would have gone into tax havens. Mark Carney had the misfortune of being BoE governor during the Brexit referendum. PP is a small government populist, he's never hidden that fact.

As for LaRue's nonsense, remember he doesn't wear pants.

Far too many people believe they have a sacred right to vote third party or not to vote to express themselves, regardless of the realities of the voting system.
that is one messed up view

the sacred right is the opportunity to vote
Far too many people in the world are denied this right.
all that is required is govt ID so that nobody gets to vote twice

the beautiful thing about democracy is that sacred right is the citizens right that can not be taken away or judged as you have just done
Far too many people believe they have a sacred right
you can try to judge the collective result and complain all you want, but ultimately need to abide by the collective result

if someone chooses to vote third party or not to vote to express themselves, that is their choice regardless of the realities of the voting system.

i personally believe if you do not use you opportunity to vote then you have no moral right to complain about the result.
but that is my personal view and fully understand i can not and would never dream of forcing on others.

statements like this
Far too many people believe they have a sacred right
is why the electorate does not trust the left

No they have that right, it is sacred and they get to express themselves via their vote as they see fit

it is no surprising fact they generally vote in opposition to the loonie left
and i am confident they will again

Doesn't really change my point.
If anything, it supports it.
Lots of supporters of every party didn't vote.
Mobilizing the non-voters doesn't always mean your non-voters come out.
No, but running continual stories about how the cons have already won the election does tend to keep people home instead of lining up for a losing vote.

Oh sure, there are all kinds of aspects that go into what influences the electorate and its turnout.

So it would be Carney deciding to spend multibillion-dollars despite not one single Canadian ever having voted for him in a public election.

He need's to ask the electorate for a mandate via an election before spending billions of their money.
Carney has to call an election, sell his long and short term vision in an election campaign and convince the electorate to give him their trust and support
If he wins , he has the mandate and legitimacy to implement his plan. He gets to print money and reignite inflation.
That is the way democracy works.
this is undeniable

posting cartoons is not a rebuttal to cold hard facts and undeniable logic

mildly entertaining perhaps

What are you blithering about ??
i mentioned Carney several times

Now get this straight

Was it alright when Harper prorogued parliament in 2008 to avoid a no-confidence vote? Let's park it for now trolly mctroll face. Your hyperpartisanship is overwhelming...

But....It must really gall you that Trudeau has come out of this Tariff mess looking like a great statesman....lol. Who could've seen that coming....

Did Trudeau meet a German business man and take 500K in a "retainer" for an airliner deal like Brown Bag Mulroney? And then sue the govt for alleging it, taking $2 in compensation and then refusing to pay back the 2M when the allegations were proven true? And then protected by Harper who prevented the govt from demanding the 2m back? OMG Trudeau is a lightweight compared to the Con Clowns. 🤣👌

Hey look everybody, it's the hyper-partisan who can not see anything wrong when his side does anything that could be nefarious, but is sooooo quick to point out all the foibles of his political opponents. Troll. Keep swinging for that fence buddy. Maybe one day you'll learn how to think critically...
