Isn't karma a wonderful thing?Sadly, this is probably true.
This may protect them from Trump's DOJ (that's far from certain) but he and his crew have many other ways to harass them.
Unprotected from what?Well Done Joe! It would have been a tragedy to leave these folks unprotected with Trump and his crazy hand-picked cabinet coming in. Patel is a nutbag.
Then he has nothing to worry about right?Fauci should be protected from Trump's COVID witch hunt.
The man did his job admirably during a time of crisis.
How horrific were the things the Dems were doing that you have to issue proactive pardons to your own family and others?
The Dems, and liberals in general, are great at accusing others of what they themselves do...and what they themselves do is typically worse. That's the thing with false narrative and corrupt mainstream media. You know that Trump went after his opponents and opposition, but you can't give any names. What a pickle.
From the top of my head:
- illegal surveillance of Trump election camp in 2016
- Steele dossier (supposedly verified as true by intelligence agencies)
- Russia Russia Russia
- Dems set up Michael Flynn immediately after Trump was sworn in
- Comey goes after Trump shortly after inauguration
- constant leaks and anonymous sources shitting on Trump and his administration
- 2 impeachment attempts
- dozens of madeup lawsuits
- Steve Bannon was jailed (hope I'm getting his name right and I don't remember reasons why he was put away)
- countless investigations
- Jan 6
- Mar A Lago raid
- villifying Trump in every MSM, Trump is a threat to democracy narrative, Nazi etc
- assassination attempts
.... etc etc etc
When did he promise to ''weaponize'' the DOJ?..I find that kind of amusing considering what Alvin Bragg and Letitia James were up to the last few years. That's a hilarious statement to make given Trump's promise to once again weaponize the DOJ.
That has, indeed, been the Republican/Conservative movement playbook for decades now.
No not at all.You sound mad
He led chants on lock her up for God's sake. But the DOJ did not persue as they said they would not have given the specifics of the case.- For one, Hillary Clinton deleted thousands of emails from a classified server thus committing a federal crime. She could've and should've been prosecuted for this alone, however Trump is on record saying that he didn't want to prosecute her to get some well deserved vengeance
- if a person's name wasn't Biden, he/she would've been prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law for taking foreign funds/bribes, for being on the board of directors of a foreign company where a person has zero value/knowledge/expertise except having an access to a US influential political figure and not paying income taxes. If a name wasn't Biden, a person would be arrested and prosecuted for a fraction of things that Hunter did, including drug use and possession, obtaining firearm illegally etc
Didn't they get convictions each time? When did he promise to ''weaponize'' the DOJ?..I find that kind of amusing considering what Alvin Bragg and Letitia James were up to the last few years.
So you're happy with your new president? No not at all.
Congressional committees whether run by Republicans or Democrats routinely involve quite a bit of theatrics that comes to nothing. Remember when Adam Schiff and Eric Swalwell used their House Intelligence Committee platform to say they saw the evidence that Trump was colluding with Russia. It's so absurd and despicable to cite evidence never produced. Some still feel they have to claim the evidence exists or they believe it exists or if it was further investigated it would exist.Yes his party did his dirty work. Remember Whitewater, and Hilary testifying for 11 hours on Benghazi, Trump attacking McCabe and those other FBI , firing Comey and bragging to the Russians about it. And Hunter Biden, who if he was an ordinary bloke would not have been through the gauntlet.
He isn't my president because I'm not American. So you're happy with your new president?
Saying that someone should be in jail is an opinion. I also think that Hilary is a crooked politician who should've been convicted, but she was a Democrat, so that's a No Go.He led chants on lock her up for God's sake. But the DOJ did not persue as they said they would not have given the specifics of the case.
Second, hunter was not convicted of bribes. He was not a government official whom upon leaving the govt got $2b from the saudis. He was a dopey idiot son who parlayed his name, like ivanka trump, jared kushner, Billy Carter, Roger Clinton, Neil Bush, Spiro Agnew, and the Trump boys for money.
Remember Trump has a long record of fraud. That's a court and jury's opinion. His campaign manager, advisors, cfo, attorney are all felons.
Courts require testimony under oath. Fox news appearances do not.
This is what FBI Director James Comey actually said:He led chants on lock her up for God's sake. But the DOJ did not persue as they said they would not have given the specifics of the case.
Thanks for bringing the actual quote. This is what FBI Director James Comey actually said:
"Although there is evidence of potential violations of the statutes regarding the handling of classified information, our judgment is that no reasonable prosecutor would bring such a case. Prosecutors necessarily weigh a number of factors before bringing charges. There are obvious considerations, like the strength of the evidence, especially regarding intent. Responsible decisions also consider the context of a person’s actions, and how similar situations have been handled in the past."
What makes what Comey said problematic, is that the statute does not require that "intent" be established. I don't think Hillary Clinton should have gone to jail, but she violated the law as it is written and perhaps some lesser punishment should have been pursued.
Trump says he will pardon all the people that were arrested for the Jan 6 riots. Guess he doesn't believe in the justice system either. And all that after Joe said that he wouldn't pardon his son because he believes in the justice system, NOT.
Mueller report said they welcomed the Russian help. Multiple indictments and convictions. Every single member of trumps team denied having any contact with Russians when they all did. Mueller said, in a ass backward way Trump obstructed justice a dozen times.Congressional committees whether run by Republicans or Democrats routinely involve quite a bit of theatrics that comes to nothing. Remember when Adam Schiff and Eric Swalwell used their House Intelligence Committee platform to say they saw the evidence that Trump was colluding with Russia. It's so absurd and despicable to cite evidence never produced. Some still feel they have to claim the evidence exists or they believe it exists or if it was further investigated it would exist.
As far as Hunter, the DOJ under Biden was shamed into prosecuting Hunter. Hunter's tax fraud was a serious problem. If Hunter was an ordinary bloke, he would not be in a position to travel the world collecting checks for negligible work.
They have fuck all to take the fifth about anyway. Now these individuals cannot plead the Fifth when being questioned in front of Congress or in any Court. So it might be interesting.
I don't care much about most of these pardons, but the Liz Cheney pardon is problematic in my opinion. She is being investigated for tampering with a witness related to January 6th. That is a very serious charge.
