Not in the slightest. Greenbelt would have been corrupt, but not this.

Like I said, hyperbole is your standard operating procedure. It actually weakens your argument instead of strengthening it.
There is an argument that Ford is trying to buy votes, but sure, you can file this one under failures if it makes you feel better.

Trying to buy votes is as old as politics. "A chicken in every pot."

That does not make it corrupt.

Please tone down the rhetoric.

He's corrupt.
Why would he award a $225 million contract to a sanctioned Russian oligarch?

5) $225 million contract to build the Scarborough Subway Extension to a sanctioned Russian Oligarch.

Where were you when Trudeau awarded the arrivescan app for 280M that has a book value of 80k?are you really championing corruption?

Still a better option than Crombie...
The "greenbelt scandal" is done...why you still grasping at that straw?
What about the Ontario Place/Science Centre debacle? And sending out bribe checks just before calling an unnecessary election and just before a tariff war with the US? The tunnel under the 401? The huge penalty paid for cancelling the Beer and LCBO monopoly a year before it was to expire anyway? The greenbelt fiasco is just the tip of the iceberg. Drug Ford is an idiot and is fooling no one with his "just give me a phone call" pitch in his tv ad.

Be accurate about what you post.
I said I would list corruption and failures.
File that under failure then.

A contract ballooned? Doug Ford has more than a dozen scandals bigger than that.

7) Ontario Place Spa - Ford awarded a secret contract to a foreign company with no open bidding, a company with assets of about $1 million at the time and was failing builds in the UK. He promised to spend $650 million for a parking lot that will be flooded repeatedly. A secret 99 year lease, like the 407, which the public had to use the courts to release. He passed bills to avoid his own liability. The contract says Thermes only pays rent if they make a profit.

I still can't forget the real corruption and it involved the liberals. Remember the gas plants and the cover up? Yeah, that's corruption and scandal for you...

Dougie apologized about the Greenbelt, so all's good!

So if Wynne apologized for the gas plant scandal it would be 'all good' for you too?

Nope! Far too late for that. They destroyed files, willingly, and had someone take the fall, to cover it all up. besides, it started with her boss, McGuinty.

For all your cries that Ford is corrupt, the liberals are just as corrupt, or worse, as you see them being above that sort of thing, and yet they aren't.

Doug Ford did worse. Wynne and McGuinty were accused of deleting emails but Ford went further and refused to use government supplied phones for public business so his calls couldn't be tracked. He was taken to court and lost and is now appealing to keep those phone records secret. Ford passed bills that protect him from being sued for fraud for Ontario Place and the Science Centre. His government has destroyed records and 'lost emails'. Ford has also made public contracts 'secret' and tried to hide them from public view, again he was taken to court and lost over his secrecy.

What Ford has done is 10x worse, more intentional and while Wynne and McGuinty were pandering to voters Ford is pandering to billionaire donors instead of the public and voters.

Desperately seeking a family doctor. What a striking scene in one small Ontario town says about a brewing crisis
A queue for 500 openings for a new family doctor in Walkerton leads to elation and disappointment. Experts say it’s a warning for the province.

WALKERTON, Ont.—

The striking scene Wednesday in Walkerton, with hundreds of people waiting up to six hours in the cold for a chance at a family doctor, underscores the crisis state of primary care in Ontario.

An acute shortage of family physicians in the province has left 2.5 million Ontarians without a doctor — a number that will soar to 4.4 million by 2026 as more physicians reach retirement age or decide to flee the profession.

Health-care leaders and medical organizations have been pushing for targeted reforms and boosts in fundingto connect more people with primary care, a move they say will improve patient outcomes and ease pressures on the health-care system. They warn that the province must do more to close the gaps.

Yeah, and the libs pander to their billionaires.

And we see their federal cousins doing so much of the Lord's work, just like their provincial counterparts would. They're cut from the same cloth, federal and provincial liberals and if Crombie got in, she'd be catering to her rich friends, in every way possible.

Don't hide your head in the sand!

All politicians are the same. There are no saints.

We just want to see things get done.

Your federal liberals are to blame for this!

The liberals are pretty tight with what they hand over for health care, so not just a provincial thing...

And to add misery to the issue, the federal liberal capital gain tax doesn't make for a great lure for any doctor, when there are greener pastures in the States.

Get off your high horse, or is it high bike?

Nope, health care is provincial. This is on Ford.
11,000 people died in Ontario waiting for surgery, 2.5 million don't have a family doctor.
This is provincial policy.
