Desperate times for the right lies to deflect the blame on to Pelosi from Convicted Felon Trump:

Pelosi did not block the National Guard from the Capitol on Jan. 6

Trump’s claim that Pelosi turned down National Guard help on Jan. 6 is ‘just fantasy’
The story has been deemed false and debunked repeatedly since early 2021, including during the 2024 campaign.

In other words Convicted Felon Trump is the main culprit in this whole affair!!
Your info is old...new video footage shows Pelosi blaming herself and the Police Chief for not being prepared...and her scheming to get Trump.

Look at the second link that I posted. It debunked Trump's claim that he "Offered Pelosi help with the National Guard", especially as he was watching the violent insurrection taking place.
It was debunked as Trump did not offer any help in spite of his own family members being concerned about it. This link was the latest one in October 2024!!

Fact checkers? You mean the ones that have been politically biased? Those fact checkers?

Alberta produced more oil and gas that anytime in their history under Trudeau.
Yet the Albertans perpetually whine and are aggrieved, welcome Tucker Carlson, empower Smith and revere Trump and the MAGA cabal.
Oil and gas production and investment respond to more variables than just government policy. Oil prices would be such a factor. We know oil prices are much higher than when Trudeau took office in 2015. Technological advances are another factor.

It's really best to look at specific policies and decide if they are discouraging oil and gas production and investment.

Here in the States we were told repeatedly that production is increasing under Biden. However, the Biden administration has been hindering fossil fuel production. In fact, the Biden Administration recently banned LNG (liquid natural gas) exports to Europe and other countries.

North America should be a bigger exporter of oil and gas to the rest of world.

Here's a quote from the end of his long winded diatribe of fixed election bullshit...."

And again, most people would stand there at 9 o'clock in the evening and say I want to thank you very much, and they go off to some other life. But I said something's wrong here, something is really wrong, can have happened.

And we fight. We fight like hell. And if you don't fight like hell, you're not going to have a country anymore.

Our exciting adventures and boldest endeavors have not yet begun. My fellow Americans, for our movement, for our children, and for our beloved country.

And I say this despite all that's happened. The best is yet to come.

So we're going to, we're going to walk down Pennsylvania Avenue. I love Pennsylvania Avenue. And we're going to the Capitol, and we're going to try and give."

Of course, in typical Trump fashion, he speaks in bizarre sentence fragments to avoid responsibility for what he was whipping up. And they did "fight like hell"!
"And we fight. We fight like hell. And if you don't fight like hell, you're not going to have a country anymore."

It was a protest and countless protests use this rhetorical language to inspire protesters. Black Lives Matter uses this language.

The most important point is that your citing the quotation "we're gonna go up there and fight" is more of a direct instigation of violent action. However, that quote does not exist.

Trump is only a flash in the pan that will soon be gone . The MAGAs will then implode, cannibalize each other and discombobulate similar to how the former Yugoslavia self destructed into chaos with Tito.

So tell me, how much does the Federal government have a say in housing in Canada?
We know immigration increases demand for housing. The Federal government can also limit foreign investment in residential units.

Poilievre wants to tie certain Federal funding to Provinces reducing bureaucracy related to residential construction and encouraging housing construction. It might not be constitutional, but our Federal govt. has been successful tying Federal funds to States meeting certain national objectives.

Your incoming leader just said the US doesn't need Canada's gas, oil or natural gas so what is Pee Pee going to do???
I sense we don't. However, the U.S. and Canada working together could increase the amount of gas and oil exports originating from North America. I don't think Biden and Trudeau has any interest in this.

That's a very sexist comment that implies any woman that's attracted to him is a prostitute.
You libs don't even know how to keep your own hypocrisy in check! Lol!
Inever said it was wrong. We need to be realistic that's it.

Not exactly.
Now the election is over, Judge Merchan might want this to just fade away. That's what I have been reading from even less histrionic media outlets.
This forum could get very boring if we cited the Judge's commentary. Judge Merchan actually is entitled to provide personal commentary about the "convicted", but it also shows how he feels about Trump. In this situation, it probably would have been best for him to not engage in anything that would put is words in the political arena.
Yes exactly.
If he was so personally biased you would have heard it. We did not, even though Trump was cited for contempt and actually deserved a reaming (if you believe in the rule of law. In fact, his contempt plus lack of remorse, had he been anyone else, would have for sure landed him in the pokey. Michael Cohen got 3 years for the same offence). The case was brought (yes, a decision was made there, maybe w some politics afoot, but no worse than the hunter biden case), but it was not without merit as he was quickly found guilty on 34 counts.

Thus the judge took into account the big picture. He honored the jury's decision by letting it stand, but put interests of the country ahead of anything else.
For being an alleged corrupt flaming democratic operative personally biased against Trump he didn't do a good job showing it.

The only person here who is allowed to make predictions is Squeezer aka Nostradumbass.
You have not earned that privilege.

btw "flash in the pan"? You do know that he was president already right? Let me guess...you are predicting that he will be out of office 4 years from now? Lol!

Knowing our current Canadian rules would really help you out as you try to defend an incoming Conservative government. This has been in place under our current LIBERAL Federal government.

NOW the reality regardless of which party is in power. BUILDERS are not building because of carrying costs, building costs and current market values.
