As desiricardo said, maybe there needs to be federal oversight. Like I mentioned before Frankie, you Palestinian loving fool. You need to eliminate the whole organization to eliminate the wokeness built in. You can’t simply restructure or leave any portion of the current one remaining.
Sounds like you want to cut all public education and turn it into boot camps for right wingers.
Not black history. Systematic racism
Cuz you can't teach black history without referencing slavery and systematic racism.

Systematic racism basically says that it’s the white peoples fault for everything and that they need to bow down to minorities in order to let them catch up. I don’t think that’s the right message to provide in schools.

Systemic racism doesn't blame any race or even call it intentional at all.
Systemic racism means institutional policies that keep disadvantaged groups disadvantaged.

I have to ask a few questions.
Who do you think should be blamed for slavery?
Do you think that there is no systematic racism or that it just shouldn't be mentioned because you think the hurt feelings of white people is worse than trying to do something about systematic racism?

So current generations as well as immigrants who aren’t black have to suffer and basically have a governor put on them? That doesn’t make sense. Believe me, the generations back then who did this to African Americans deserve to be punished but we don’t live in the past.

Why do you think white people suffer when systematic racism is discussed?
Are you claiming all white people are complicit or is it just the people who like the amount of systematic racism present now?
Why would other races be offended at the talk of fixing systematic racism?

Because that's how you get more students to meet the standard. There's only two ways to achieve this.

Either they come up to the standard, which decades of intervention have failed to do. Or the standard comes down to them.
That would be the very definition of dumbing down America. Instead of making people smarter, all you are doing is saying "it's ok to stay this stupid".

I think it creates unneeded friction and promotes stupid actions such as DEI and affirmative action.

In America, there was the first large influx of engineers in the 80s and 90s from India to the US. These people were not rich, came over with couple hundred bucks, and settled down. Their kids started becoming doctors and lawyers. Ivy League schools said oh no, you guys are too successful and almost all of you have perfect academic stats. We are going to limit you so black, Hispanics and native Americans can get in. That went on for a while and the Indian community sued Ivy League schools on this and won. Recently affirmative action also ended in the US.

Don’t reward failure and punish success. That shouldn’t be controversial.
