Jordan and most right wing podcasters will give right wing leaders a love in interview where as the CBC will ask more questions to try and place the candidate in the hot seat. I'd say the same if Justin went on a leftie podcast and the interviewer kissed his ass showing how giddy he is that the canadate chose them.

I think he should do more with hostile media. The apple eating one alone was an gem. He is at his best when he takes on the ones who aren't real journalists but talking heads with an agenda. I'm not worried about him on the campaign trail.
No, Oprah was not hardball but this is the problem with podcasts instead of going on news channels where a good interviewer will make them squirm a little.
That is my point, he along with all candidates should be doing interviews with real journalists. Professionals who hopefully can get them off their talking points. As for the apple incident I think he came off as an arrogant POS.
