I just laid out the best solution...it was in place for decades...applying to become immigrant is quite easy...and one of the requirements is... no criminal record or falsified documents....crossing the border illegally fails those requirements...immigration always count the applicant have "good faith". show up to the border legally. That's what I did.
If they are already integrated, living there, economically self sustaining and contributing to the economy, why not?
