Sometimes when Frankfooter is juggling his multiple handles, he doesn't have time to type more than a few words as he bounces from one to another.
It's how he passes the time while waiting for his social assistance cheque to come in.

It's a distraction because rather than answering the question you ignored it and just asked your own question without providing an answer.
Hamas planned the attack for some time and had the element of surprise on their side. It didn't just spontaneously happen.
Israel didn't have the luxury of planning a counter attack ahead of time but responded immediately. Is that "right away" enough for you? Or do you want to distract more?

btw it was Oct 7th not Oct 6th. Can you at least get your facts straight?
Israel did not respond right away. You got that fact wrong and that is why there were several demonstrations after Hamas carried out those terrorist killings and then took those hostages.

Much has been written of the Israeli intelligence failures that enabled Hamas to catch Israel by complete surprise in its brutal onslaught on southern Israel, which saw terrorists kill some 1,200 people, most of them civilians slaughtered in their home communities and at an outdoor music festival amid vicious atrocities — rapes, executions, the burning of people alive — and kidnap around 240 others. But another aspect under scrutiny is its lackluster and sluggish response to the attack once it began in the early hours of October 7, with multiple failures of defensive strategies and command and control systems enabling terrorists to rampage through communities for long hours, murdering and pillaging.

The New York Times report paints a picture of a military that for too long on the day failed to understand the scale of the attack, sending teams that were ill-equipped to deal with a mass assault. As the military grappled with the unfathomable situation playing out in southern Israel, the first troop deployment occurred at 7:43 a.m. — over an hour into the Hamas invasion — when orders were issued for all emergency forces to move south.

In other words if the Israel IDF moved in a more concise manner, then they could have prevented Hamas from taking those hostages!!
Remember that Hamas are considered by The Palestinians to be Resistance fighters, similar to the how the Irgun Party was once designated by the British to be a terrorist Party.
Unlike you, I am denouncing both Hamas for October 7th killings as well as Israel's brutal response in mainly killing the women and children that have nothing to do Hamas.
But the speculation as to why Hamas attacked was assumed to be the prevention of Saudi Arabia recognizing Israel as a State!! But can you explain why Israel considers The West Bank as well as Gaza and East Jerusalem to be a part of Greater Israel when everyone living there are Palestinians?

Israel's occupation of the land and settlements it has built there are considered illegal by the UN's top court. However, Israel's current government does not recognise the right of the Palestinians to have their own state, arguing that it would be a security threat. It also claims the West Bank as part of a "Greater Israel".

So once again that "distraction" ridiculousness is a constant repetition like a broken record from you!!
By the way do you not make any typos? I meant October 7th, but is that a big deal? When you state that the Israel Army responded "immediately" we know that you got that fact WRONG!!

Considering you thought this happened on Oct 6th you should try and regain your credibility by not doubling down on your ignorance.

Israel's offensive started a couple hours after the initial Hamas attack. A simple Google search on the timeline of events will show you that. Hint: it was Oct 7th not Oct 6th. Factor that into your search.

People started getting murdered and taken hostage within the first hour.

You are actually not denouncing Hamas by distracting to wrong dates and reinventing the events of that day and making shit up.

Someone who actually denounces what Hamas did wouldn't be so quick to invent a reality that focuses on Israel's reaction and peddles the narrative that it was too slow.

Nice try. Any other facts you want to get wrong?

You cannot comprehend what is a typo can you? Are you saying that you never made a typo before? You are dumb!!
Now you agree that the Israeli "offensive" started a couple of hours after this Hamas attack. People were being shot by Hamas and they took a couple of hours to get to the scene?
By then Hamas militants were gone, with the exception of just a few military members resisting them.
No wonder that Netanyahu does not want a Public Enquiry!!
Now you are talking real shit by stating that I have "not denounced" Hamas. Show me where I am defending them. Of course you do not know the difference between women / children paying the price for the war..... when you think that it is "not denouncing" Hamas. Skoob, as I stated before..... you are beyond redemption!!
That so called "distraction" is eating into your brain. So read and learn for a change:

Israeli government failed in 'its duty to protect its citizens,' civilian-led probe into Oct. 7 finds
“The foremost sin was arrogance, which blinded state leaders and security officials from confronting reality,” according to the Civilian Board of Inquiry, an unofficial body.

The Israeli government failed in its “primary duty to protect its citizens” in the lead-up to and during the Oct. 7, terrorist attacks, according to an Israeli civilian report released Tuesday.

The Civilian Board of Inquiry, which has been investigating evidence of intelligence failures around the Hamas attacks, laid the blame on Israel's defense and intelligence establishment, as well as civilian leaders, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who it said silenced '"dissenting voices" and did not strike Hamas pre-emptively.

"The foremost sin was arrogance, which blinded state leaders and security officials from confronting reality," according to an NBC News translation from Hebrew.

The board, which is not connected to Israel’s government and cannot officially compel it to act, is made up of former members of the judiciary, military, civil service and relatives of Oct. 7 victims.

The report, which says it interviewed 120 witnesses, also called on the government to launch an official inquiry into the attacks, something Netanyahu has refused to do so despite calls from the families of hostages and other victims.

Netanyahu “bears significant responsibility” for the policy of “money for quiet,” the report also said, referring to allegations that the prime minister encouraged the Qatari government to send millions of dollars a month to the Gaza Strip in the hopes of maintaining the peace.

NBC News has approached Netanyahu’s office for comment but did not receive a response.

Some 1,200 people were killed and 250 taken hostage during the attacks as Hamas fighters infiltrated Israel from southern Gaza and launched thousands of rockets. The incident, described as the worst attack on Jews since the Holocaust, profoundly shook Israeli society and damaged a sense of security built over years.

The war that followed the attack has killed more than 44,000 people in Gaza — most of them women and children — according to local officials, driven much of the population of the enclave to the brink of famine and destroyed many of its buildings.

The Israeli report also identified a "major cause" of the Oct. 7 tragedy as a "glaring failure" by Israeli intelligence branches.

It specifically pointed to Shin Bet, Israel’s domestic security agency, and military intelligence for their inability to provide timely warnings or act on those that were issued.

Israel’s intelligence services appeared blindsided by the attack, despite having long been seen as some of the most capable in the world, with an array of human intelligence, eavesdropping and other technical means covering the occupied West Bank and the Gaza Strip.

In a response attached to the committee’s report, Shin Bet said that it “values civilian engagement,” but that a state commission of inquiry “must be established.”

Benny Gantz, a former defense minister and key rival of Netanyahu's who quit Israel’s war Cabinet in June, echoed Shin Bet’s calls for an official inquiry, which he said "must be established without delay."

In a response attached to the committee’s report, he said an official inquiry would help with "initiating the process of national healing, restoring public trust, and strengthening national resilience."

The report also criticized Israel's former defense minister, Yoav Gallant, for "reducing troop presence near Gaza, the lack of preparedness of southern forces, and ignoring multiple warning signs."

NBC News has reached out to Gallant for comment.

In July, the Israeli military released an assessment of its failures to protect the residents of Be’eri, one of the communities hit the hardest by the attack, where more than 100 people were killed and dozens taken hostage in an assault that left much of the kibbutz destroyed.

The report, based on an internal inquiry, said the Israeli military “failed in its mission” to protect the kibbutz, a few miles from the border with the Gaza Strip, because of grave errors in Israel’s response to the multipronged assault.

In September, former soldiers from a military observation unit told NBC News that their warnings about suspicious Hamas activity ahead of the Oct. 7 terror attacks were repeatedly ignored.

“If I had been valued a little more — not much, just a little — maybe it could have ended differently,” Roni Lifshitz, one of the former observers, said. “It’s anger and sadness, mainly frustration, because I was there and no one listened to me.”

Oops.....maybe they should have interviewed a critical witness called Skoob before publishing this report!!

Boy you make a lot of typos...you said "Oct 6th" more than once. Usually when someone keeps stating the same info it's not a typo. It's ignorance.
Are you blaming the Israelis for not thwarting a Hamas attack instantly? Is that your expectation? So any terrorist attack anywhere should never have happened because the respective government should have preventing it? Is that your logic?

Each response you provide focusing on Israel's response to the attack rather than answering my question is nothing but a distraction and proves my point that if you actually denounce the Hamas attack you would answer my question rather than focus on the victim's response timing.

Some of these idiots supporting Hamas have no idea what is going on in the middle east...they rely on twitter and MSM for their news. I've been to Israel, Saudi and Qatar...what works here in Canada doesn't happen there...Israel has bunkers built for civilians in case of a terrorist attack (I wonder why) they know once in a while...Hamas goes full retard...

Israel has tunnels like Hamas?

Nobody is supporting Hamas, they are supporting Palestinian rights and the end of a genocide, apartheid and illegal occupation.

The part I find interesting is that "Palestinian supporters" want you to believe that Hamas is completely separate, and that way, they can unleash their antisemitism hiding behind "Palestinians".
Like Hamas hiding among "Palestinians" ironic isn't it?

Have you seen any protests here or abroad by "Palestinian supporters" denouncing Hamas and rioting to free the hostages?

Skoobie-do….he’s referring to the complete collapse of the IDF in full view of the world….overrun by 1000 or so freedom fighters that had a pittance of the same weaponry but won because of intelligent planning and bravery. Add to this the shocking inability of the IDF to even respond for hours. When it did, it slaughtered its own people.

This will be taught in every military college going forward.

Bravery?
You think killing unarmed people at a concert, taking hostages and raping women was an act of bravery?

What exactly did they win in your twisted mind?

POS Nation has been killing unarmed people, taking hostages and raping women for 75 years. Educate yourself.

The myth of the IDF was laid bare in front of everyone.
