Euhh stigmatization, financial discrimination, censure of social media/advertising platform, clients that refuse to screen because of criminalization putting workers at risk. It's even difficult for you! A shady person can rob you and complain could be potentially difficult for you due to the nature of the transaction. There is a lot of different way and type of sex workers not everyone is as privilege as I am and not everyone has been touched the same way.
sex work should be legal !

but since no Canadian political party is going to make it happen anytime soon

not Conservatives or Liberals

the current law is best that we can have at the moment

I'd like to read what you two have to say...
Ya I know a few things about this and have some (ok a lot 😂) of things to say on it. I guess I’m pretty familiar with the prostitution laws. I just realized how much my stance has developed and changed since I severed myself from the leftoid NeoMarxist indoctrination machine of school. I even hate being called a “sex worker”, makes it sound like I wanna unionize or some shit 😂.

I am still collecting my thoughts on it I guess, while I complete some other tasks around my condo that I was procrastinating on.

I’ll share them here eventually, likely

look
now you are just being obstinate in addition to completely misguided & foolish

if murdering 20 to 50 million of your own citizens is not a human rights abuse, nothing is

a criminal is someone who commits an illegal act including entering a country illegally

there is only one possible explanation why you get this sooooooooooo ass backwards
you choose to allow emotion to override common sense and logic
that is your problem to deal with
but the issue is you want to impose this conflicted, ass backwards, illogical stupidity on others, the vast majority of whom are far more pragmatic and practical
Look, you are not being objective.
China is objectively a success story.
Nobody anywhere denies this. 90% poverty to 2nd largest economy is a success story.
China has committed human rights abuses which is condemnable.
The US is also a success story.
The US has also committed human rights abuses which is also condemnable.
One is not morally superior than the other.
Tons of people from the US and Canada live and work in China as expats and they all have good experiences.
There is no emotion in my comment here.
Neither of these are my country.
I am stating facts.
You asked me to give you an example of a communist nation that was successful.
I gave you one.

Some of those sex workers have run so you can walk. I don't affiliates with any political parties but I won't accept to regress because you don't care or others.
I feel like it's some sort of proof of gratitude.

Yeah china and USA are almost the same 🙄 then there is this:

China has several notable internet restrictions, collectively known as the “Great Firewall.” Here are some significant examples:
1. Blocked Sites: Besides Google, popular sites like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, WhatsApp, Reddit, and Pinterest are blocked. China restricts platforms that host user-generated content and news, preferring domestic alternatives (e.g., Baidu for search, WeChat for social networking, and Weibo for microblogging).

2. Strict Censorship: Online content is closely monitored, and sensitive topics like political criticism, discussions on Tiananmen Square, and anything related to Taiwan or Tibet independence are censored. This can include keywords, images, and even memes.

3. VPN Bans: While VPNs can help users bypass restrictions, China actively works to block or limit VPNs. Only government-approved VPNs are legal, and their use is closely monitored.

4. Surveillance of Communication Apps: Apps like WeChat and QQ are widely used but also heavily surveilled. Authorities can monitor conversations and, in some cases, use this data to track down or censor individuals who discuss forbidden topics.

5. Real-Name Registration: Chinese internet users are required to register with their real names on many platforms, making it easier for the government to track individual activity.

6. AI and Facial Recognition Surveillance: China uses AI-powered facial recognition to monitor public spaces and track people online and offline, blending technology with social control.

These restrictions are part of China’s effort to control the flow of information and maintain social stability through a tightly controlled internet environment.

The USA also has many internet censorship laws.
The USA also surveils your communication. Edward Snowden?
The USA also has facial recognition. Ask the SW who were banned from entering the US even when they dont show their face on social media.
Maybe you could say it is less in the USA than in China.
But it is still significant.
