Stock markets are responding nicely to the election victory. Nasdaq up 2.2% the Dow up 3.1% so far. My RRSP account thanks US voters for doing the right thing.
Yes, the billionaires are very happy today.
Don't know why you are cheering them making more money, though.

The U.S. (and probably Canada) has a strong inclination for a small recession early next year. Looking at price to earnings ratios, the stock market is overvalued. I also fear China's economy will drag down Europe which has global implications.

This all of course has nothing to specifically do with Trump. However, the business climate will be better for many companies and industries. A recovery should have strong footing in North America.

The DNC threw Kamala under the bus when they put her on tv to defend Biden’s “slow start”. Brit Hume’s question in the fox interview about when she knew he had problems was a kill shot to her credibility.
Brett Baier's question in the Fox interview.

You sure about that?

didnt end well with Nixon.

Trump will not finish his mandate.
Like Nixon, it helped to be running against a disjointed Democratic party.

In fairness, I think you're referring to progressives. They need to be the silent partner in the Democratic party as they were until the last decade.
while that might be good advice, the 'progressives' need to take a much deeper re-evaluation of their ridiculous ideology

1. Net zero
2. Open boarders
3. Wealth redistribution
4. Defunding police
5. Soft on crime
6. Ignoring property rights
7. Diversity quota hiring
8. tax targeting the most productive citizens
9. Punitive damages for historical events
10. Irresponsible spending/ borrowing
11. Censorship of criticism of any of the above
12. Promotion of any of the above via corrupt, biased, void of integrity/ objectivity main stream media

none of these cornerstone ideals of the loonie left are practical achievable policy objectives and each has / will cause more harm than good.

The election results are more a rejection of failed loonie left ideals than a Trump victory
These ideals will soon be soundly rejected north of the boarder

Will progressives re-evaluate their failed ideology ?
Not a chance. that would require independent thought, which is strictly forbidden by.... their failed ideology

IA went red by almost 14 points. This would have been the worst poll in history. Obviously manufactured to try and get out the blue vote.
Ann Seltzer clearly decided a desire to be a partial player on the field was more important than her reputation as a pollster.
The Des Moines Register should issue an apology to its readership.

Seltzer herself said she would be "reviewing data" which doesn't sound contrite at all.

Why do liberals revel in destruction?

Focus on building things, improving things, bettering yourself and others, and making the world more peaceful.

Because, believe it or not, those chickens do come home to roost eventually.
I am neither a liberal nor conservative.
Trump is hardly a constructive force.
His schtick is to tear it all down.
