No, I think it had to do with Netanyahu being in political trouble and needing to attack Gaza to stall his corruption trials.
Even if true, it means that he was able to use Oct.7 as his excuse. Hamas handed it to him on a silver platter and to top it off, Hamas knew that it was going to happen.

No matter how we look at it, Oct.7 was stupid, stupid, stupid for anyone who sincerely cares about Gazan welfare. Obviously, that excludes you. You support everything that Hamas has done. You cheered on Oct.7 and you cheer on more Gazan deaths by waiting for a ceasefire that is not going to happen anytime soon instead of calling for a unilateral Hamas surrender which would take effect immediately.

What is stupid is a 76 year illegal occupation of Palestine, apartheid rule and constant colonial settler land theft.
That was the cause and Israel's genocide in response is even stupider and way more evil.

The rate of death and destruction in Gaza rose exponentially a day or two after Oct.7. Do you deny that?

Oct.7 was stupid, stupid, stupid. The only people who would deny that are the ones that cheer on 10's of thousands of Gazan deaths (including 15 million children).

Which group do you place yourself in, Geno? Or is this another case where you can't answer because you don't know? LOL

Wonderful statement from UN SG Guterres. Pays tribute to the courage of Palestinians.

“The intention might be for the Palestinians to leave Gaza, for others to occupy it,” Guterres told the Guardian. “But there has been – and I pay tribute to the courage and the resilience of the Palestinian people and to the determination of the Arab world – [an effort] to avoid the ethnic cleansing becoming a reality.

“We will do everything possible to help them remain there and to avoid ethnic cleansing that might occur if there is not strong determination from the international community,”

“Israel could carry out the “ethnic cleansing” of Gaza if the international community does not make a determined stand to prevent it”

A usual nonsense blablahblah of a corrupt UN official trying to justify his job.

It does not matter what the UN say anyway.
