Second interview she's done where she wasn't treated like a child. She bombed both, badly.

But she even bombs when surrounded by fans that want to help her... like Oprah and the girls of The View (how is that show still on air? Their viewer demographic are a special breed).

I didn't care for the transgender surgery in prison question.
I thought it was a perfectly fine question.

Reminds people of the kind of crazy policies she supports and spends American tax dollars on.

She should have been able to explain why she supports it and why it's a good thing, and why tax dollars should be spent on it.

Beav, I actually watched this clip earlier in the evening. I didn't get the commentator's point then and I don't get it now.

Can you break it down for us? What is Trump saying other than he has been investigated more than Alphonse Capone? Was the "enemy from within" the big takeaway? I'm not sure that was the big Fox edit that this guy makes it out to be. I've heard "enemy from within" many times.

It's mostly designed to appeal to transphobic voters. If you don't think gender surgery is a legitimate health procedure, that's a different discussion.

I'm kind of looking for your own breakdown. This video doesn't add much to the previous one. So I'm now calling into question your ability to frame an opinion beyond what you read or hear.

When Trump discusses "the enemy within" the context I have seen has either been the army of Democratic prosecutors going after him or social unrest that I take to mean in circumstances like in Seattle and Portland. So liberal commentators want to quickly frame it as fascism, but I'm not sure that's what centrist voters hear.

This is NOT what Trump stated a few days earlier. Obviously you did not watch the video that I posted. No doubt that the friendly Fox Host that asked Trump the question in front of a friendly Republican crowd, wanted him to walk back and try to do some damage control. Then as usual Trump goes on a tangent and bringing up Capone in the mix.

But here is the whole context of what he originally stated in the clip. Listen to this video near the 1.10 minute mark and tell me whether what Trump stated was appropriate?

He named Adam Schiff as one of the enemies from within. It's admirable how you try to sanewash the dictator wannabe who still speaks with Putin going directly against the Logan Act.

Adam Schiff the guy who as head of the House Intelligence Committee said he saw evidence that Trump colluded with Russia? That guy?

Schiff is going to win a Senate this year. So I'm glad he misused his leadership position and turned the country upside down for two years for something worthwhile.

The enemies from within that Trump refers to are not your run of the mill Democrat voters. They are not the Hollywood elites who vilify him at every step. They are not the trade unions who don't support him. They are not the rank and file public servants who don't support him. The enemies who he is referring to are the deep state tyrants, their political and corporate media sycophants and the George Soros backed organizations that want to divide and destroy the United States of America.
These are the groups that are doing everything in their power to see he doesn't get elected. They may have succeeded in 2020 but in 2024 they won't.

Adam Shifty is one of the worst. I would hold him accountable for his treasonous actions.

Great job by Bret Baier in his Interview with Lyin’ Kamala Harris. She has a massive and irredeemable case of TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME - So bad, in fact, that she is barely able to talk about any subject other than the man who had the best economy ever, the strongest border in history, and who just got the UNANIMOUS ENDORSEMENT OF THE U.S. Border Patrol, ME! Their Endorsement was a TREMENDOUS HONOR!!! They said that Comrade Kamala did a terrible job, the absolute worst in memory, and can’t be allowed to do it again. She is also the WORST Vice President in history, but hopefully will soon be GONE. Again, congratulations to Bret Baier on a tough but very fair interview, one that clearly showed how totally incompetent Kamala is. For the good of our Nation, her inferior Cognitive ability must be tested at once!

He definitely crossed a line. The House Intelligence committee has access to confidential information that other members of Congress do not have. You can't ethically use that position to say you saw some confidential information that never existed.

You can have your feelings about Trump, Russia and so on but Schiff never produced the evidence. If he had the evidence as opposed to innuendo, we would not be having this discussion about Trump vs. Harris in 2024.

I'm not sure pro-Harris members here understood this nuance. The MSNBC announcers were dramatizing the "enemies from within" language for political effect.

Clearly you're asking too much. All he's capable of is parroting what he heard on the 6 oclock news.
That's not fair. If you have a couple hours, ask Beav how he knows that Trump promised Putin the Ukraine and it was in the works prior to 2020.

It's actually useful because you begin to understand how difficult it is for our U.S. and Canadian leaders to run our countries and manage foreign policy.

So, after watching the interview this morning, I thought she did very well. She held her own against a tough interviewer, and pushed back on some of Fox's bullshit. Was it perfect? Nope. But, I think she came out looking pretty confident and comfortable. Now, I understand that for MAGA, no matter how well she does, it will always be a disaster. That's just the reality, and the fact that @mitchell76 had to post 15 straight twitter posts about how bad it was shows you how freaked out the right must be....

But, I will say this: How many Fox viewers did this persuade to vote for her? I mean, it is possible that several were swayed. But, I think the average Fox viewer is a MAGA cultist, and this was just an opportunity for them to hate watch her.

Now, the question we must ask....Why isn't Trump doing interviews with CNN/MSNBC/NBC/CBS/ABC? I'm pretty confident the reason is likely he knows they will push back against his bullshit. Or that in his mental state he cannot articulate answers without rambling like an old codger who is quickly going senile.

Sometimes it's better to stand pat at let the other side bury themselves...Their polling as of now is indicating this.

Let's see if this changes in the next week...Joe Rogan is the interview he should do but won't do if they feel he doesn't have too.
