Brett Baier was smart , he showed on the screen her stating in the past that she would support surgery for trans in jails. He asked her again tonight twice if she supported it and she just kept saying she would support the law

This was the first direct interview, where she was challenge. She didn't do well.

In truth I don't like these type of interviews...Ask the question and let her go through her spin deflection. Then come back at her again...Point out the deflection politely...There's nothing to be gained by talking over her. You appear too biased.
Yeah, Brett Baier could have turned it down a bit. However, Kamala seemed like she wanted to run out the clock at times. I thought he was aggressive, but he also knows his audience doesn't want an interview like Dana Bash or The View's Democratic Ya-Ya Sisterhood.

Listen she couldn't directly answer any of the tough questions without owning that Joe Biden dropped the ball several times during his run...My guess is that if she throws Biden under the bus that he will flip out and cause problems. Which will sow discord in the party. So she's stuck. The kicker. is that Biden shafted her when she was his VP. He probably didn't consult her on anything and now she's a lame duck.
This is a historical problem with Vice President's running for President. People are ready for a change and you have to carry all the baggage of your predecessor. You're damned if you throw the President under the bus, damned if you don't.

I do give her credit for going on Fox...Showed a lot of moxie. Is Joe Rogan next?
She did show a lot of moxie. I don't know if she won over any voters, but it will be harder for anyone to say she's not out there.

This is one of those peculiar issues that isn't a big deal in the scheme of things. There are gender issues that disturb people as they relate to young people, but I'm not sure most people are too concerned about the govt. paying for these surgeries for any adult.

By the way, my understanding is that the Canadian health system pays for these surgeries for any adult.

This was not a great Brett Baier question.

Yes, but the only reason Harris agreed to do this Fox interview in the first place, is because she's down in the polling. If Harris was up in the polling, then Harris would have run a "basement" campaign, just like Joe did in 2020!!
