Yes, UNIFIL troops that are there to keep Israel and Hezbollah from fiighting.
...
Wait, you're lying again? What a surprise.

Straight from the UN Site.
UNIFIL is a complete failure since the UN's rules of engagement deny them the ability to do anything other than sit and watch where Hezbollah allows them to travel. Israeli troops have documented hezbollah facilities within meters of UNIFIL sites but the UN troops weren't allowed to do anything about it. There are decades of reports on Hezbollah interfering with UNIFIL's motions, going as far as to disarm and confiscate cameras.

According to what international standard? or do you think the world has the obligation to make sure they inform you of every action?

If the ICC chooses to investigate and take it serious, they will request Israel to share their targeting process,
I agree. That also means Israel cannot turn around and complain that they dont get the benefit of the doubt.

Um, did you read the article because it clearly says that the IDF assessed the damage and the report actually relies on that IDF imagery. The article is clearly being critical of the information used to approve the strike and does not claim there wasn't an assessment of the impact as you claimed.
Accepted. They probably do.
What I now recollect, is that the spokesperson said that Israel does not account for or is not aware of Hamas casualty counts after an operation.
So they dont really know how many of those casualties are actual civilians vs Hamas.
To recap, this conversation was in the context of proportionality so the civilian vs Hamas deaths is what we were talking about.

An assumption on your part.

And as has been previously detailed, Hamas using those sites for military purposes is a war crime and negates the protected status.
Your assumption is based on unfounded claims by a genocidal army but even so you back targeting hospitals and schools.
That's a war crime or terrorism. Targeting hospitals is still a war crime even if you make claims its a base, its still a war crime.

'The IDF said' does not excuse war crimes or terrorism.

'The IDF said' is not enough.
If you believe this than all Hamas had to do on Oct 7 was say they had intel the IDF were hiding at the rave and villages and you would have to say there was no terrorism or attacking civilians. Your entire attack line on Palestinians disappears with this.

If you really think an army can declare they think they are targeting militants anytime they kill civilians you just justified this.
If this is your rationale.

The Lancet published a letter that argues that Israel has likely killed 300,000 Palestinians.
You can't argue proportionality on Hamas, when they were estimated to have 20,000 militants total and are still there fighting now.

Nor can you see a photo like this and argue that Israel was only targeting militans.

Yet you just demanded Israel make public all the information they used to approve their strikes.

But I appreciate that you are willing to admit you were wrong.
