A great interview with Jill Stein about the bad state of both parties.
The biggest issue with the US is the two-party system. But, it sure looks like both the GOP and Dems want to keep the status quo. Stein had literally no shot of winning anything (just like RFK), but could divert some votes from Dems and help Trump.

It would be interesting to see what would happen if there was another couple of parties out there with legit shots of putting members in congress of the White House. Hell, it could happen if Trump loses and the GOP tries to recalibrate more to the centre. Who's to say they wouldn't have a split where the MAGAts form a new ultra conservative party and the GOP moderates to classical conservatism...I'd be interested in seeing how that plays out.

There are a lot of issues with the US system, the two party system, the EC but likely the largest is that politicians don't answer to voters.

She discusses this. I think the Nebraska Senate race is proving that there is a hunger for alt candidates.

Yeah, like how whenever you say anything against Biden or Harris the republicans try to shut you up by claiming they live rent free in your head or you have Biden/Harris derangement syndrome but when some asshats posts 20 tweets on every relent thread shitting on Trump, that's fine. Or how Harris has promised her supporters that they will never have to vote again because she will fix it. Or how in 2016 Hilary said she would not accept the results if she lost... before the results came in, or how in 2020 Biden was bringing in lawsuit after lawsuit pretty much all rejected to overturn results that even Harris said was legit at the risk of her own life, how Biden even resorted to calling some poor sod in Georgia and threatened him to get him to find some vote... just enough to win, not check things out, but to find X number of votes, and we all watched in horror when Biden tried to stage a coup and was fine with his minions chanting hang Kamala Harris when she stood up for the constitution over Biden.

Yeah those Democrats are so anti democracy.

And John Pinette is so anti over eating, Mitchel is anti Spam, Jimmy Carr is anti vulgar humour, Frankfooter is anti terrorism and Paul Bernardo is absolutely sickened by violence against women, and Justin TrueDooh is utterly opposed to blackface and cultural appropriation and fiscal irresponsibility, Arnold Schwarzenegger is anti fitness and Kate Micucci is anti hot.

Just about everytime I hear something from a Trumptard, it is over up there with flat earth/a man becomes a biological woman because of feels level deluded crazy. A disturbing relationship with reality.

The Democrats are using the courts to try to keep the Greens off state ballots. And in one case gave wrong wrong instructions for ballot access then used that as an excuse to sue to keep them off.

So go back and try again.

The Dems are a helluva lot more democratic than the Repugs... but you will ignore that in your anti-Dem fetish.
Except when they are not. Denying ballot access to third party candidates they consider a threat while suing for others to stay on they don't.

That's not democracy

Did they do anything illegal? If not then good for them to do anything they have to do not to give The Felon the edge.

Actually they may have. The video shows the State Secretary gave false information to the Greens on which forms were legal to get on the ballot. Then denied those forms. After having gotten triple the number of required signatures.

A judge ruled in the Greens favor but on appeal Dem appointed judges overturned it.

I'd say that is lawfare at its finest, as well as unethical behavior.

Clearly stating the supplied the wrong forms.

I see so the Dems followed procedure but biased judges helped them out so this falls into lawfare, gotcha, ok....lol

No, they didn't, they gave out the wrong information. The Greens had used the correct forms, were told they were the wrong ones, redid them to the ones the Dems Said too, then were told past the deadline they had used the wrong forms.

And then used that as the excuse. And continued to fight it until they got a friendly judge.

Now replace Green with Dem, and Dem with GOP. And say you would say that's fair.

"Democracy" has taken on a different meaning in today's political lexicon.
It seems to mean "Our Leftist Globalist Alliance".
I've heard it referred to as "The Tyranny of the Majority" as well, which seems accurate.

You better go and inform the Judge or take it to the Donald appointed judges in the Supreme Court!!

What you don't get is it won't change the Green vote to Dem. If they planned to Vote Green then it means they will never vote Dem. The assumption they are similar is erroneous.

It may even drive some of them to vote Trump out of spite.

Bver, they will either not vote for Harris by, writing in Stein, by not voting at all, only voting down ballot for the most part. And yes, some will vote for Trump out of spite.

Remember in 2016 people who voted for Obama voted for Trump. Google it.

Then they voted for Biden instead of Trump in 2020!!

But Stein is playing a dangerous game in the manner in which she is sucking up to alt right. The Party of the man who believes that Climate Change is a "Hoax"!!

A sizeable number of Republicans are switching to Harris. But wait for another month as this could get interesting!!
