There won't be an election in Canada until the American Election is resolved. Party leaders want to find out how bloody the post election will be if Trump loses.

Sucks that our political system hinges on what happens south of the border. 🤷‍♂️

He doesn't answer questions, he sidesteps, slings propaganda, quotes irrelevant media sources and points the finger when confronted. Remind you of anyone?
...and don't forget...blames Harper for everything even though it's been a decade since he was PM.

Try it...ask him a question or make a comment about Trudeau...you can prove Pavlov's Dog Theory immediately.

You are illiterate. You don't make any sense. I ask you about rental housing, you respond by ranting about property investment.

You understand that not every living unit has to be a purchased property. Right?

Now why did the BC Gov create a Vac Tax? Because they're NDP crooks, they want tax revenue. They know irrational people like yourself will support this, so they implement these inflationary taxes that only serve the interest of the bloated government and their programs.

Who do you think is going to buy the property if the investor sells? Another fucking investor.
You are the illiterate one that cannot either read or comprehend that both house prices and rentals were addressed in that response!!
There are also condos being designed for rentals that were built such as the Tridel ones. but when we are discussing general house prices, this is where the likes of Pee Pee and his wife have purchased multiple ones just as investments. Your train of thought is just too narrow minded!!

But there you go designating the NDP as "crooks" especially when it was clear and obvious that several properties in BC were left empty as they were being used as investments.
You are also putting your foot in your mouth to agree that investors are using these properties just like their buy and sell shares. You scored an own goal there!!

Bro, read my other reply, I'll post the link. He absolutely refuses to say ANYTHING bad about JT. He won't even go so far as to say JT had bad breathe one time in the sixth grade. This guy is in fucking love. He's brainwashed and needs serious help. 🤷‍♂️

Lmfao!!! Typical liberal 🤡 When all else fails, resort to pedantics. Your papa would be so proud of you. Listen, I haven't the time, patience or interest to play your silly games so the easiest way to prove my point is to expose you for what you are. A JT dickrider. You think JT is a flawless human being and the perfect leader so with that being said there is simply no way to get thru to you. Everyone else here, even his supporter recognize he has made mistakes but you are blind, irrational and totally out of touch with reality and now I'll prove it. Name one(or more if there are any) mistake that Justan asshole has made either while in office or in his life in general. You can't. Because you don't see any. At that right there is my point. You're incapable of recognizing him for what he is. So for that (t)reason I have no interest in ruining you warped opinion of our :poop: prime minister. 🤷‍♂️

Instead of answer he went off on another rant. This was the best reply I could come up with yet it didn't make him budge.

Have you ever considered a career in politics? You would be a natural! You essentially ignored everything I said in my post and resorted to slinging propaganda and quoting media sources trying to make an irrelevant point. Lost cause? Have you looked in the mirror? Trying to convince you that your daddy Justan asshole is bad is the equivalent of trying to convince members of the Nazi party that Hitler is a bad man. You simply refuse to see anything other than the ideology that you've been indoctrinated in. Additionally, when have I ever said anything in support of Pierre Poilievre? I haven't yet you decide to include me as a supporter to further strengthen your irrelevant point. You sir are the epitome of a lost cause. JT could run you kid over and all you would have to say is 'well, I'm going to miss him but he shouldn't have been playing on the road' And then you'd offer to suck JT's dick before he leaves. You are brainwashed and hopeless.

I've realized he is a lost cause and not worth my keystrokes. I will simply refrain from engaging with him any further because why would I? His head is to far up Justan's ass to hear the truth and that's where he likes it. 🤷‍♂️

No, like everyone is pointing out, you avoid answering because you are being proven wrong. If you can't afford to buy a house, then you should for sure be able to rent. Correct? So where are the affordable rental units? They are not being built to meet demand causing inflation.

We don't build enough living units. PERIOD. It's a supply side issue. You can complain and tax the "investors" all you want, it doesn't magically create new housing.

And that's why the NDP are crooks that cater to illiterate people like yourself. These wacky ideas of "I'm gonna tax people richer than you and it will all work out." makes no sense. How does that accommodate the living situation of hundreds of thousands of newcomers in Canada? It doesn't, but it does make sure they have funds to create safe supply for drug users.

So it's you that has the narrow mind, because if we built homes to meet demand, "Investors" (many are not even rich) would actually lose money on their investment.

Again I answered that question umpteen times and posted a link as to one of the major causes of record house prices, that you refuse to acknowledge. Typical rightie logic!!
One of the root causes in Provinces like BC is the number of properties that were purchased and left empty to flip over as investments, hence depriving those wanting to purchase their first property due to the rising prices. This was a result of using it as an investment that you yourself agreed and now trying to deflect to rentals!!

Now that most of these individuals have to rent as a result of the cost, these greedy landlords are evicting their existing tenants just to add. some cosmetic touches to their renovations in order to jack up the prices. Yet you blame the NDP Govt. that tried to address these facts with at least putting a vacancy tax that in some ways is addressing the issue. You are the narrow minded one that cannot comprehend this simple fact!!!

Useless arguing with the right wingers. They are mostly clueless and we can see how they resort to abuses and name calling.

Investors like Pierre Poilievre's use of multiple properties as investments is one of the reasons that have also raised the house prices.
Condos were being flipped at the construction stage raising the eventual prices.

I'm sorry my illiterate friend, but the NDP and Liberals have you on a 10year wild goose chase.

You think you've discovered fire but I have news for you, This bit is old.

^^^Where are the affordable homes that was pledged as far back as 2015?
^^^For years it was said Foreign buyers were the problem and we need to tax or ban them. Well, you did. Is housing cheaper now?
^^^Now it's the investor with vacant properties and we need to tax them as well. It's always some elusive bogeyman causing all the issues.

Same dog and pony show every election cycle. Then you fools vote these NDP and Liberls in and what happens? Absolutely nothing.

Do you stop and think what makes a property a good buy? Do you stop and think that maybe developers need to make a profit too? At what point do you not understand the root of this issue, the starting point, the problem is supply?

At what point do you realize these communist/socialist policies of taxing everyone and forcing people to subsidize themselves makes no sense.

I'll let Poilievre explain the rest.

If a conservative was found to be wearing blackface multiple times regardless of the circumstances or how long ago, he would be having a stroke and tripping over himself to condemn them.
If a conservative essentially fired the Attorney General because they blew the whistle on him for corruption, he would spin into a rage-fueled foaming-mouth tirade.
If a conservative was found guilty of violating the Canadian Charter of Rights in a court of law, he would be burning cars in the streets.

But since it's JT...he just deflects to Harper and Trump and hopes everyone will just buy his bs hypocrisy.

So like a good Communist you want to prevent people from investing and punish those who did?
Or are you just jealous when someone makes better financial decisions than you and doesn't expect a government handout to pad their lifestyle?

And they say Poilievre has no housing plan. :ROFLMAO:

Please vote for a snap election then.
They don't want an election because the NDP and Liberals will be obliterated.
The sad part is they don't accept the reasons WHY that would be the case.

Exactly. I wasted enough time trying to interact with him in an intellectual way only to realize I might as well be talking to a wall. He's beyond help. I feel sorry for his family that has to put up with him 24/7

Power play. It's a tactic to get something further down the line. PeePee wants a snap election but isn't going to offer the NDP anything in return. At least the NDP got a national dental care plan from the Liberals and increased GST rebates during rising grocery prices. What does PeePee have to offer? Nothing, he's just power-hungry and The Bloc and NDP see that.

Only Neo-Nazis would believe that we are experiencing "Communist / Socialist" policies!! You are extremely hilarious in that respect!!
You are illiterate if you think that this housing crisis started under The Trudeau Govt. Harper was warned about it then and remember that he wanted nothing to do to address it.
Easy to push all the blame on The Liberal govt!!
The Foreign Buyers Tax was implemented in 2022. It was to prevent the Houses from being purchased by foreign buyers who were using it as investments. Many nations around the Globe have imposed them. This will not magically drop the prices to affordable levels, but it has helped in curtailing the sharp rise in the estate prices.
But we know that Pee Pee is bullshitting about what he is going to do to "help Canadians to purchase a home".
Remember how he lied about being Harpo's Housing Minister. No such position existed under Harpo!! It is just to promote hollow promises:

Earth to millennials: Pierre Poilievre is playing you on housing
