Israel put explosives in Motorola pagers and sold them in Lebanon.
Thousands were injured, a 10 year old girl killed and civilians victims.
Doctors and nurses were killed, with the exception of one American hospital where Israel had them replace all their pagers just before the attack.

Israel is a terrorist state.

All Israeli tech worldwide should be suspicious now.

Pretty clever of the Israelis to do this to specifically target Hezbollah fighters.

Buy, install a small, personal sized explosive charge, reprogram the pagers so that when some secret Hezbollah word, message or code is received… pop💥! And that Hezbollah fighter gets taken out!

Yes, there will be those closeby that will suffer some injuries but far less than a missile.

And FAR less than Palestinian suicide bombers with explosive vests with nails and shrapnel DESIGNED to kill civilians.

This reminds me of how the Israelis took out a ton of Iranian centrifuges that we’re producing bomb grade plutonium with the STUXNET virus embedded on millions of free USB sticks.

Amazing job, mesmerizing. How the hell did they load thousands of pagers with explosive? Apparently the pagers were made in Taiwan. Unless they found a digital way to overheat the battery to make it explode. They're legendary.

PURE speculation but as I understand it, Hezbollah’s leader told the fighters to ditch their cellphones as the Israelis could trace you. And to start using pagers. (The only known company that has been able to hack Apple’s iOS phone OS is an Israeli company). The Israelis are very good hackers.

So Israeli intelligence ( Mossad?) came up with a plan to somehow bid or otherwise act as a wholesaler or black market source for (what I understand) Hezbollah’s order. Would be easy to identify and intercept an order for a few thousand pagers going to Lebanon all of a sudden.

Then once delivered to the Israeli middlemen, pagers get disassembled, a few grams or an ounce of C4 gets packed into the case, EPROM or whatever Operating System gets hacked to set off the explosive charge when a particular message or word is rec’d by those pagers identified as belonging to Hezbollah members

Would also be easy to monitor those pagers for a while, intercept and analyze messages to clearly identify Hezbollah operatives/ fighters etc. Then send the magic word. Or even better, bait the Hezbollah leadership into sending a blast to all members that included some violent or special word they use. Poetic justice.

I don’t think a pager battery has enough potential energy or can even be catalyzed quickly enough to cause any meaningful explosion.

Maybe, We probably never know how they did it, maybe they entered the warehouse where they were stored and worked on them. But we're talking thousands, I doubt that, unless they paid the warehouse to close an eye. This will go down in history. Maybe they'll make a movie about it. 😄

Maybe indeed. IF it was Israel’s Mossad they will never take credit. It is their signature to never take credit for these kind of operations. Not doing so fucks with the enemy’s mind!

Take a few more minutes to read about the STUXNET malware that trashed Iran’s nuclear centrifuges. Took years for the malware to get into the air-gapped network ( no internet connection). And they would only overspeed. Few machines at a time. Then going back into hiding. Then a few more machines. Iran never figured it out. Kasperski, a Russian antivirus company found it on some other machine controller and was curious enough to figure it out.

Intelligence tradecraft at it’s best. Fascinating story.

And MossD and the CIA ever said anything to confirm or deny. 😂 👌

Schlong, those pagers were used by doctors all over Lebanon as well.
All this will do is escalate the Israel - Arab war.

You think its really smart to say its ok for governments to blow people using their phones?
You really want this to be acceptable?

Very interesting, amazing how they do this.

Someone on line said that this could be a preemptive strike for a major attack.

More examples of Israeli actions that benefit US geopolitical interests in the region.

Jewish money? AIPAC? Hahahahahaha

What happen to boycotting anything that has to do with Israel?
It's a pipe (bomb) dream.

BDS has been around for 20 years and has done nothing to affect Israeli life or Israeli military action.

I have not heard any credible information saying these pagers went off on any Doctor or nurse.

You are speaking as if the entire batch of pagers would go off indiscriminately killing or maiming actual innocent by blowing up their pager.

There is NO way that if Israel could manage to get in on the deal early enough to think it through etc, then buy several thousand WITHOUT telling the manufacturer, disaasemble, form explosives to fit, reprogram the operating system to be able to trigger remotely, and then NOT only target confirmed Hezbollah members.

The Israelis are not stupid enough to go to these lengths for a clean, targeted hit to be that clumsy or ignorant of the public relations nightmare that would cause.
