Seem like he's still fixated on Biden and running against him.
When I started doing business a few decades ago, Canada was very similar to the U.S. in its business environment. There was of course the govt. healthcare system versus the large private healthcare in the United States. Europe was always a difficult place to do business. The US is the last hope for success. Where capitalism and freedom prevail is where people should move if they want a chance at controlling their future and rising up to upper class. I don’t see any country overtaking the US as long as Trump wins.
You can call him what you want but he’s not a socialist. If a felon will keep socialism out, I will vote for the felon. Most politicians are felons who haven’t been caught.
By the way, Canada is garbage compared to the US. Too many garbage people were allowed in your country over the last few decades.
The U.S. is almost 9x larger than Canada. Seems like it was mentioned a lot in the debate tonight, but we also have a large, porous Southern border that a very loud, vocal minority wants to keep open. The sheer numbers of migrants would drown Canada if the shoe was on the other foot. Not to mention Americans being far more "tribal" with general political polarization/racism/religionism in general compared to Canadians...
I didn't hear that tonight.Seem like he's still fixated on Biden and running against him.
You do realize the irony of you telling an American to get off this site on a thread that it 100% about the U.S. Presidential election. Then get off this site and go hang out with the rest of the brain washed, uneducated hillbilly red necks down there in the good old USA......
From reading these threads for a few years, either progressive Canadians have taken over this forum or Canadians don't question authority enough and have a certain complacency.I agree, then the divergence started to happen and move towards European idealism. In my opinion, Canada has always been a great country. I just don't like where it is today.
Jalimon is a guy who recently claimed he supported U.S. Republicans in the past. I think he was doing a bit of "false flagging" to portray himself as the voice of reason.People aren’t equal. They never were. Elitism and superiority are very real. That’s where socialism and socialist policies fail. The strong don’t want to wait for the rest to catch up.
But the good thing about capitalism is that your social standing is not set in stone. Even in a corrupt capitalistic society, the poor can rise up to be strong if they try hard enough.
A perfect example are Indians. Most came from middle class Indian families, studied until their head heart, came to America, and rose to the top.
Neither. Canadians are just a little bit more reasonable and believe in actual freedoms for people than resorting to meaningless rhetoric like the Americans. From reading these threads for a few years, either progressive Canadians have taken over this forum or Canadians don't question authority enough and have a certain complacency.
It's probably a bit of both.
