In 1965 Sandy Koufax threw a perfect game. There were 7 things that happened in that game that had never happened before in a MLB game. Name some or all of them.

1. The only game in MLB history where both teams combined for one hit in 9 innings. Still a record.(correctly answered by onomatopoeia)
2. Koufax became the first pitcher to throw 4 no-hitters in a career.(correctly answered by onomatopoeia)

See post #5193 for the rest of the answer.

I think there was only one hit in the game, and it wasn't in the same inning as the run scored, (1-0 game). I remember that because there was an article about it in an old issue of Baseball Digest that the previous owner had left behind when my family bought a cottage in 1970.

Correct. It was the first, and to date still the only, MLB game where both teams combined for 1 hit in 9 innings.
One down six to go.

/QUOTE]

Koufax set a record for most no-hitters, later demolished by Nolan Ryan.

Correct. It was his fourth no-hitter, which at the time was a record.

Who am I?

I am the only NBA player to have been born in the state of New Hampshire.

I graduated from University with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, (high honours), and a 3.96 Grade Point Average. I won Academic All-American of the Year for the sport of basketball in my Junior and Senior seasons.

I was an NBA 2nd round draft pick, (Chicago Bulls), and subsequently traded to the Toronto Raptors before turning pro. I spent one season in the Italian League.

I am the only Raptors rookie to play in all 82 regular season games. I posted a career high .533 Field Goal Percentage as a Raptors' rookie.

My 3 Point Percentage was above .400 in 9 of my 12 NBA seasons, with a career average of .414.

I am a two-time NBA Champion.

I attempted to obtain Canadian citizenship in order to qualify for the Olympics games, but my application was denied.

I was the only player in the NBA who wore New Balance shoes, even though I didn't have an endorsement deal with them.

In my 12 season NBA career, I started 112/792 career regular season games. More than half of those starts were in one season in which I posted career highs in Minutes Played, (23.8), Rebounds, (4.8), Assists, (1.0), Steals, (0.6), and Points, (8.2).

Who am I?

I pitched my first no-hitter in my fifth Major League start.

I have the fewest lifetime wins, (54), among pitchers who threw more than one no-hitter in the Modern Era, (post 1900).

I pitched 200 or more innings in four different seasons, but I pitched fewer than 60 innings after my 30th birthday.

Despite only winning 54 games, I had 45 career complete games, 15 of which were shutouts.

I was the General Manager of a World Series Championship team.

For many years, I held sole possession of the Major League record for having struck out in 37 consecutive games in which I was in the starting lineup. That record was tied by Aaron Judge in 2017.

I had a .098 slugging percentage in 338 career at bats, with eight career RBI's.

Out of all those clues you listed there was only one that led me to the answer. That was the attempt to obtain Canadian citizenship. I recall that dragged out over months, if not years.
