unassuming answered the NHL question correctly.

A rare occurrence in Baseball is a non-pitcher who bats right-handed and throws left-handed.

Name as many as you can.

Hints on seven of them:

One of the players was inducted into the Hall of Fame after the 1990's.

downbound123 correctly identified Rickey Henderson.

One of the players finished third in his league in batting average in the same year in which he was a World Series Champion.

One of the players won a Gold Glove in six consecutive seasons.

One of the players played four of his five seasons for the Montreal Expos, primarily as a right-handed platoon first baseman. He had excellent numbers for a small sample, (less than 300 plate appearances), in his second year with the team. The left-handed platoon first baseman that year won a Gold Glove.

One of the players was claimed on waivers on August 22. That same year, he was a World Series Champion and he was named MVP of the NLCS.

One of the players was a spot starter and pinch hitter for the World Champion 1964 St Louis Cardinals, after having played 293 games over the previous two seasons, primarily for the Houston Colt .45s.

One of the players had 37 HRs and 113 RBIs with a .299 Average and .966 OPS in his one big season, (2010), of a 12 season career.

Each of the last two players has four letters in his first name and seven letters in his last name. The last four letters in both of their last names are the same.

Who was the first man to be a first round pick in both the NFL and Major League Baseball amateur drafts?

Dave Winfield.
Nope.

Winfield WAS a first round pick, (#4), in the 1973 MLB Draft, but he was only a 17th round pick in the NFL draft.

Who was the first man to be a first round pick in both the NFL and Major League Baseball amateur drafts?

Kyler Murray just a few years ago, no?
Correct!

Murray was selected by the Oakland A's with the 9th pick of the 2018 MLB amateur draft. He was the 1st overall pick in the 2019 NFL draft, and he won the Heisman Trophy in between.

(He's the 'easy one').
