Trudeau, unlike rump, was not on trial personally for a criminal act.
A verdict came down and they were found guilty of violating that act.
You immediately brushed it off and said to wait for an appeal. i.e. you did not say they were guilty and put your hope in an appeal to overturn the ruling
Trump wasn't convicted of a criminal act in criminal court. It was civil court. Appeal in progress regardless.
Has nothing to do with the type of verdict or court.
So when a verdict comes down that you don't agree with you wait for the appeal but when others appeal you already have determined they're guilty?
