Well I mean, choosing the lesser evil is pretty bad if you think about it...
No it isn't.
You should
always choose the lesser evil in everything you do if you can.
That's how you get less evil in the world.
I really don't understand these people who announce they don't want to reduce evil.
It's fucking bizarre.
there's no better candidate out there than these 2?
The nature of flawed systems.
There is no way to get the perfect, bestest candidate for executive office since probably lots of people who might be considered best would never want to run.
That's even if you bypassed the whole fact that you have to navigate the systems in place to have a shot and those don't necessarily select for the actual governing skills.
(And no system designed could ever flawlessly select for the best person since there is no fixed goal that is "best". )
You are always going to get flawed candidates and since people genuinely disagree about what needs to be done, even the BEST candidates aren't going to be viewed as best by a significant portion of the population.
Do you like the policy she's laid out so far?
It's mostly a continuation of Biden's policy, so yes.
He was a FAR better president than I had anticipated.
Do I agree with all of it?
Of course not.
I would be absolutely shocked if I ever had a candidate I agreed with on everything.
There's minimal...she hasn't had an interview except from Walsh...Lol... She herself said there's a lot of problem right now..economy, housing etc etc...and she's going to fix it...why hasn't she and Joe Biden fixed it for almost 4 years?
The GOP has been VERY effective at stopping things from getting fixed.
That's a flaw with the US system - far too many veto points and too much ability for counter-majoritarian rule.
