Amateur boxing is not the highest level. Your tennis argument is a false equivalent.
Mira Marjut Johanna Potkonen (née Miettinen, born 17 November 1980)[2][3] is a Finnish lightweight boxer. She won a bronze medal in the 60 kg category at the 2016 AIBA Women's World Boxing Championships and the 2016 Summer Olympics,[4][5] the latter being Finland's only medal at the 2016 Games.”

Lost in the amateurs to a future worlds/Olympic medalist. This wasn’t a bum that she was competing against. If Khelif really was a man there’s no way she’d be losing to a woman.

only one of us is right...You support Hamas...you don't deny it...not once...they are considered terrorists by world leaders...I don't support Israel meddling with Gaza...I support for them to defend themselves from terrorist attacks...I don't support settlers killing palestinians...just like I don't support Hamas killing Israeli civilians...most of what I support are backed by evidence...what you support is backed by feelings...I dont usually say this a lot but fuck your feelings...
Delusional.

I don't support Hamas, I support Palestinian rights.
You support Israel's apartheid rule and genocide on Palestinians in Gaza.
The evidence, reports, UN findings, ICC upcoming warrants, ICJ rulings and human rights reports all show the facts and evidence are on my side.

Your views on sex are just as delusional as your views on human rights and the law.

Yes Khalif lost because she faced a more experienced and skilled amateur fighter. In amateur boxing there are often huge mismatches. It was Khalif's 17 fight. 2.5 years later and with 33 more fights Khalif is fighting for the gold medal. Now Khalif can harness the male physiology that she was born with.

Interesting video. In other words , Khelif has no chance in her/his lawsuit against Elon Musk and J.K Rowling!!

Why doesn't Khalif sue the IBA? Force them to show the test that they say she failed.

Bring the dreaded boxing organization to it's knees...Could it be that Khalif has something to fear here?

This isn't a left or right issue, it's a media literacy issue.

1. The IBA allowed her to compete for years before disqualifying her in the middle of a competition, that she had already been allowed to compete at.
2. The IBA's own minutes show that it was a decision by their CEO, not their doctor, not their director of competition, or registrar, or whatever.
3. The IBA won't even name the test that they did. However, they are on record stating that it was not a testosterone test, nor was it a genetic test.
4. There is no path to change your gender in Algeria. What's on her passport is what she was born as.
5. She'd literally be in jail or dead if she was trans in rural Algeria, where she was born and grew up.
6. As an elite athlete, she has to have been under relatively intense medical care, training, etc. Lots of time naked on a table, or in her gitch in a locker room.

Either the IBA is lying, or Imane (and about 1,100 other people) is covering up being a dude.

For the first one to be true, the IBA, who has a vested financial interest AND has offered no proof of their story, has to be lying

For the second one to be true, Imane's parents, friends, doctors, trainers, the IOC, her competitors over the last 5-10 years ALL have to be in on a conspiracy that 1: Risks Imane's life, 2: Risks the IOC losing credibility, and therefore money. Imagine the lawsuits from the competitors and the member countries if the IOC is acting fraudulently. Literally nothing is gained from allowing a trans Algerian person to box.

Your first sentence kind of outs your level of knowledge: She doesn't get to sue in "world" court. She's Algerian, a crime was committed against her while in France. She gets to pick the venue (between those two) that is most advantageous to her. That's why she's retained a French lawyer. Musk and Trump are somewhat sheltered unless they want to do business in, or travel to France. The US likely has extradition to France (I'm not going to look it up).

Literally no one has offered any proof that she has XY chromosomes, or that she was born a dude. Even the intersex speculation is just that: Speculation. She "might" have such-and-such a syndrome, no one has offered proof.

Why did Khalif who originally appealed the decision later withdraw that appeal, thus making it binding?

Probably because Khalif's camp didn't want actual test and results to be published.

They knew they had a clear path to the Olympics where they knew there would be no sex testing or hormone testing.

As long as that passport said female Khalif was in.

Imane Khelif (Arabic: إيمان خليف, romanized: ʾĪmān Khalīf, pronounced [ʔiːˈmaːn xaˈliːf]; born 2 May 1999) is an Algerian professional boxer

IMG_7606.jpeg

She lost to another woman Mira Potkonen in 2021. Imane Khelif was 22 when she lost. You’re telling me that a 22 year old man who’s been training at a high level for a number of years would lose to a woman in fucking boxing? Either you’re just being dense because you’re committed to your lies or you’ve never competed at any sports at a high level. Because if you have you would know just how fucking easy it is when training/sparring with women.

1. Legally binding does not equal scientifically rigorous. See: Pizza is a vegitable, bees are fish.
2. The IBA Technical and Medical rules are online. Find me the eligibility rules around gender testing.
3. If the IBA lost their sanction, why bother fighting them? they don't control boxing anymore

Read the minutes from the DQ:

- They failed a test in Turkey in 2022, but weren't DQ'd or notified about the test.
- They were allowed to register, travel to, and compete in New Delhi " where they passed medical check and passed necessary tests"
- Kremlev then DQ'd them on his own, after the 2023 event.
- The board backed his unilateral decision, but stated " The Board requested that the IBA Head Office establishes the procedure to follow in similar cases in the future and to be reflected in the IBA Regulations. "

So,
1. They "failed a test" that no one new about, and no one did anything about
2. They "failed another test" that no one knew about except the CEO, who DQ'd them after the fact
3. The board then said "we should have some sort of policy for DQ-ing people arbitrarily"
4. The IOC said IBA's decision was arbitrary and without scientific merit.
5. The IBA has said "Our suspension was arbitrary, and our testing does not have scientific merit"

The problem has always been the illegal occupation of Palestine by Israel, as noted by the ICJ.
How is stating the facts supporting Hamas?

Fine, but why do you get to tell them who they are?
Why are right wingers so busy harassing women and LGBTQ, who just want to live their lives?
It is because in the highest level of sports there is a Men and a Women division. Before the ideology of gender identity the men division represented those that are born the sex male, and the women division represented those that are born sex female. The women division historical was never an intergender division.

What you perceived as right wingers harassing women and lgbtq. That's you denying science in the context of sports competition... You are in denial that Males have a distinct competitive advantage when it comes to sports that require elements of (i) speed, (ii) strength, (iii) endurance, (iv) stamina.

We are talking about competitive sports at the highest level. We are not talking about participating in non-sport activities in (i) school environment, (ii) work environment.

The fact is that Imane and Yu-ting identify as "Women". Well it would of been a greater story if for the first time women enter the men division and ended up winning medals. But instead they took the easy route.....

The IOC has rules on gender and they were applied.
Take it up with them and stop harassing athletes.
