Black Lives Matter says Dems are 'party of hypocrites' for 'installing' Harris sans 'public voting process'

How long does it take to call a press conference and do 90 minutes? It's not like the press will say no. She has the entire Biden campaign team now, the WH team, at her disposal. She could say where and when and just do it. Programming would be pre-empted like that. And it would be viral immediately.
Why would she want it, though?
She had a VP to pick and vette and a convention to coordinate.

What benefit does she get appeasing your demands?

My belief, she is being managed and not allowed. Doesn't bode well.
Of course that's your belief.
And given that it is, you obviously won't accept any press hit she does as legitimate anyway unless it proves you were right.

So again, why should she do this thing to appease you?

It is. And it's a new negotiation. In fact 2 are needed.
You want two more besides the one he agreed to?

He's proposed one on Fox instead.
So besides the "please hold one at a Trump rally" (which you seem to support as a venue) where should the other one be and with who hosting and with what rules?

You seem to be very invested in "debates" as useful, so what would you like to see?

I'm sure this will be part of the GOPs attack strategy. But, do you think it will stick? I mean, you can look at all the shit Trump has done to the black community, like vilifying the Central Park 5, or being sued by the government for his refusal to rent to black people, or how about him not wanting black accountants (and only wanting jews...). Do you think he gets a clean slate for a history of treating black people poorly? First Step Act is great, but will it be enough to erase all of this history???
I think it will with Black men yes. I don't think the 70's rental thing will. Too long ago and common practice in NY. CP 5 I think is baked in now. As is the other stuff.

I see 20% black men happening for him. Maybe more.

Um, can you try reading?

2 more total. Show me where I said "Trump rally" or even an audience? I think they should coordinate a mix of moderators. 3 in total. And free broadcast on all platforms no commercials.

I know the last thing you want is Harris up there without a teleprompter.

It's amazing you think it's about me. It's about talking to the American people. I don't blame you for not wanting this. She isn't very good at it, is she, when she actually has to think on her feet, without a safety net.

Recent polls seem to refute this:

Basically, 70% of blacks support Harris, while only 12% support Trump. Apparently, they can see through the GOP bullshit, like AI generated photos of Trump with black women, or all the white faces at Blacks for Trump tents....As for the racists stuff....I think saying that blacks love Trump because he is selling sneakers or is a convicted felon is sort of telling. But, you go on living in your dream world...

The bottom line is that come November, the black community will likely vote for Harris by a 3-1 margin, if not more. They are savvy enough to know when they are being used, and it sure isn't by the Democrats. And the bot army and fake photos isn't going to change that.
In 2016, Trump beat Clinton with 8% of the black vote. Clinton had 89%.

In 2020 black support for Trump went up to 12%.

In this poll from about a week ago put the number at 22%:

Why do you think black support for Trump has been increasing?
Why does Harris have less black support compared to Hillary?

Hmmmm.....

The fact that you don't think the NABJ interview had any effect is exactly why you think rump still has support from black americans.

I don't make up facts like you do. I present them.
You don't like them so you find other ways of spreading misinformation and peddling your own assumptions to suit your ever-hateful and biased narrative.

A lot of black men would see that as pandering to the stereotype of black men being stupid like Herschel Walker...

That is ambitious. I don't think it would be close to that. And considering the number of black women who would NEVER vote Trump, I think all of this is moot. Trump will not get a significant number of black voters to really help him where he needs it.

Umm....did you now see how black support for Harris is surging.

How, pointing out how Hillary had nearly 90% support of black voters and won the popular vote but now the electoral college....That's an interesting phenomena. Especially since a large number of GOP led states have the most serious gerrymandered districts in the US. I'm not saying Dem states haven't done this...but not to the same extent.
Because of this gerrymandering, it diminishes the impact of black votes. It also shows why the GOP loses the popular vote in many states, yet clings to power.

It would be great if the various states had non-partisan maps, but I doubt that would happen anytime soon.

Polling showed it already was at that.
