Well it was a mediocre speech by Trump.

Civil conviction for sexual abuse is not a criminal conviction of rape....

You accuse him of lying yet you do the same thing.
Trump sued Carroll for saying he raped her.
The judge said it is correct to say that rump is a rapist.

sexual assault = rape

I'm not sure exactly where you get your numbers. In any event, after this year Biden will have ran the largest deficit of any President.

If you and others use economics to make political declarations, they usually don't make sense in any context. Trump's declarations doesn't always make sense. Either does Biden.

As far as your concern that Biden is being unfairly blamed for inflation, some of it is unfair. I personally don't like a lot of his spending initiatives. The Inflation Reduction Act was a not so brilliant attempt at political manipulation. You can tell me all day that government spending does not fuel inflation. I find rhetoric like that just as crazy as anything Trump says.

I don't see anything anywhere to support your numbers but if Donnie says it, it must be true.

Gotta love this part : Presidential decisions can also lower the federal deficit and reduce borrowing. For example, the Congressional Budget Office predicts that the Inflation Reduction Act, which was passed in 2022 under President Joe Biden, could reduce the federal deficit by $58 billion over a decade.

And this : Spending also increased under then-President Donald Trump by about 50% from fiscal year 2019 to fiscal year 2021. This was largely driven by tax cuts and COVID-19 relief measures. Those types of moves, along with increased government spending and decreased tax revenue from high levels of unemployment, can generally cause the national debt to rise sharply.

Check out this too :

What do you have to support your (false) claim that Biden created more debt than Trump ?

So that explains a lot! FBI profile completed.

Beautiful summer day and you are shut in, a grown man playing video games and watching Trump on TV, holding forth on the nuances of world affairs!

Ha! Have returned from a successful food forage foray(Italian Summerlicious) a round of Gaming with a Honey Jack Daniels and a side of Trump rambling seemed quite reasonable.

Especially at 10:30 at night. Long past your and Joe's bedtime........

So in other words, a bad episode of Celebrity Apprentice?

You and your sanctimonious concerns over policy etc. You're just another disaffected American Idol celebrity worshipper. All about thr performance of the performer.
Um, that's because it was literally, within the context of what people are looking at(cognitive skill) right now, a "performance" review. Part of that being not a policy detailing but a vision outlook.

That's the exact purpose of the convention speech. Had he shortened it and stayed on a message it could have changed some minds, especially with the assassination narrative to back up a change in him. It obviously didn't.

Holy crap yes policy matters. GOP as rule in my opinion suck on it. But the thread of isolationism in immigration, trade, and foreign affairs, especially with the J.D Vance announcement, is now more solidified. And it's attracting voters. Especially young ones, some minorities, and from some other key demographics.

The election is going to be decided by about 600,000 people in those swing states. And who stays home. How many will see the cut up and packaged pieces is what's important.

So you admit that you just make stuff up to make the Bidens sound worse and republicans sound better ? I guess that's a start
I'd say the honours in "making stuff up" are at least even. I've btw been reading your posts on the assassination attempt.......and we'll every post you make about Trump.

But funny how with the levels of security at the WH suddenly they are clueless. But I suppose considering the performance of the SS lately it may be explainable.

Right now I think he is forced to be clean. If he does end up in jail with no pardon on the horizon I expect another relapse.

Probably about a half hour too long. Too much off the cuff filler. Started nicely talking about the assassination attempt. Should have gone straight to Biden Criticism then finished strong with the Vision Portion. A good 3 Act speech.

But as usual he went off on rambling bits. So I call it a no harm, no foul, but no improvement speech when it could have been something else.
Probably the greatest, most inspiring speech ever given by a moron level IQ, senile, narcissistic, delusional, convicted felon / compulsive liar in the history of the Republican party. 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Another tactic right of of lyin' Don's playbook - when caught lying say the opposite thing you lied about while making the original lie sound true.

Let me make this simple so even you might understand:

Butter1000 : Hunter Biden is still using drugs
Butler1000: Hunter Biden is not using drugs but that's not his choice

You see how you contradicted yourself ? By adding " he would if he could but he can't so he won't" does not make your 1st lie true. Following it up with "well you lie too" also does not make your lies true
