To the men mid 40's and older, how old were you when you sex drive declined?

My sex drive hasn’t declined at all… It’s always been extremely high, to the point where I battled a bonafide sex addiction in my younger years - Still working on it lol . The only real difference is that now I have to take viagra in order to get my member to stand at attention. I first noticed it last summer when I was having trouble getting hard with my girlfriend at the time. I went to see my GP, he prescribed the blue pills and now I’m almost back to what I was about 20 years ago. Still taking a bit longer to recharge the batteries, though…

I am 55. About 2 years ago I upped using the blue pill from 50mg to 200mg. Sometimes 250mg. Like several I don’t eat well or exercise much.. The drive has decreased but I still hobby. Just not as much

Holly shit. 100 and 300mg? I got to get me a new Doctor. I didn't know that such dose existed. Here I was thinking that 20mg was pretty high for me cause it works Amazing. I went from 10mg to 20mg. I can just imagine the damage or Injury I would cause with a 100 or 300mg dose of a blue pill.

There are other ED meds, Levitra and Cialis, that use other chemicals. Try one of those and see if makes a difference. You body could have gotten used the chemicals in Viagra. This is not legal, medical or scientific advice.

I love her to bits and we're a great team, but I'm just not "horny for her" as much and I don't think she's "as gaga" for me either. Again... we're an awesome team and will grow old(er) together. But this town, with all the gorgeous young ladies from around the world, gets the motor running something awful. So that's why I'm on THIS board!

Good reason for your urologist to be angry. ED meds originally were being worked on as a BP medication when they found it helped create wood better than a BP med. Take too much of an ED med can cause your BP to drop, sometimes unexpectedly (especially if you take BP meds too) = Dying. Talk to your urologist about other options.

73....good looking younger wife...great cook.....loves bj's.... for breakfast......marathon on weekends.....I eat a lot of good veggies and fruit every day...lots of natural protein.....slowed down the wine...lost the beer gut.....lift weights a little every morning.....work out the lower platform when I can......lotsa coffee.... no sweets at all ever....the thought of eating her makes me so horny....we always dine after the fun......never before...

My sex drive is still high - I'm in my 50s but my ability to be hard all the time has declined....

Ive been reading everything I can on teststerone to fight the ED and from what i can see all these supplements advertised are full of crap and the best thing to do is lots of vit A and zinc for testosterone and French Pine Bark and l-Arginine for the ED. And Omega 3 for the other half to boost her sex drive... and out of all the ones I have read about and tried Id say the Omega 3 has had the biggest effect... just saying
