In the last 4-5 years Spain, England even Japan took over the US in women's soccer. Hence the big turnaround this year. Which is great. Spain was by far the best team at the last World Cup. All led by all-star Bonmati.

However, the US remains the most dominant country in women's soccer. At the last World Cup, the Philippines won their first game ever. 90% of their players were playing in US universities.

The current US team is indeed very strong forward. The most gifted and talented player for me is Rose Lavelle. If she can control the midfield like Bonmati does for Spain, or Walsh for England, the US will win back the gold.

The new coach will also have to revert all the controversy picking Albert to positive results.

I've been watching American football pundits on YouTube over the past few months regarding Jesse Marsch. Since Canada hired him he and Canada were ridiculed, and now they're second-guessing that the USA Soccer should've hired Marsch. LOL!

Really looking forward to the Argentina vs Canada semi-final tonight. Bars/restaurants will be be packed especially the ones with outdoor patios and TV's. Wish the Cineplex was showing this on the big screen like what they did for the World Cup in 2022. I saw 2 matches on a mofo big screen at the Cineplex. :cool:

Was the match fixed?

The referee ignored Argentina's fouls while penalizing Canada at every opportunity, the tally was 5-17 against Canada. Then he over-ruled VAR to award crooked Messi the goal, he was clearly off-side. If Colombia beats Uruguay, Argentina is almost assured to retain their title as champions.

Colombia look impressive against Uruguay. They have gone up 1-0, and deservedly so. It wont be a cake walk for Argentina in the finals if either of these two teams do make it.

Well, Argentina showed some letdown near the end of the game and Canada almost scored, Canada failed to cash in on their chances. Argentina may get away with it with Canada but not with Colombia.
