Don't know how the rankings work but Canada beat a team ranked below them, don't know if they will get big points for that. Canada ranked 48th, and Venezuela ranked 54. Maybe how big the tournament is can earn them extra points.
Think they’ll get big points for at worst a top 4 finish at the big tourney.

If they were more clinical up front, this Canadian team could win against any team in the world. Too wasteful but a joy to watch led by their imperious, newly minted captain Alphonso Davies. What a player!

And while not an easy task but Argentina is beatable imo, Ecuador went the distance and lost on penalties.

Why display in writing here that you are an idiot? You could have simply restrained from posting no?

Anything can happen. Weird things have happened. Greece won the Euro once.
The odds are that Argentina will win and then win another Copa. Which is fine. Canada made their point and will no longer be regarded as a joke by south-american country like they used to be.

What sucks is Tuesday I am coaching a team at same time as Canada is playing :(

The truth? You are thinking like an old fart.

Indoor facilities for soccer are being built all over the country. Soccer is now ahead of hockey in youth sports registration.

10 years ago Canada was losing to Santa Banana Island. Tuesday they play Argentina in the semi final of Copa. Quite a step my deer ;)

The team has really come together under this new manager. There's no pressure on us lets go out there and shock the world by knocking off the Argentinians. Go Canada!
That would definitely be a great accomplishment, but, it doesn't end there or gets any better. If they were to beat Argentina, then they would more likely have to face Uruguay( No disrespect to Colombia)which is the Country that is tied with Argentina and has won the most Copa America's with 15 Titles. I'm happy to see that team Canada has made it to the semi-finals and that they're finally seen as a force to be reckoned with and can not be taken lightly going forward in future cups. 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦🍁🍁🇨🇦🇨🇦🍁🍁🇨🇦🇨🇦

It won't get any easier, and Uruguay is one of those teams that have had Brazil's number in the past.

You don't look well jalimon. Better take a couple of days off and stay in bed. After all, you don't want to infect anyone else.

He trolls hockey threads just like he's trolling here.

He posts but has zero knowledge of the things he posts about.
