Maybe the pro Hamas crowd can tell us why the need for this wall...Egypt wall them in pretty darn good...

Nothing about it makes me “happy” but I can try to appreciate some sign of progress and respect for the Court. .Fine if it makes you happy.
I liken it to cleaning up all the blood from the floor after committing murder in somebody's house. Obviously there's a matter of degree in my example, but the concept is 100% analogous.
Of course they had a choice. They could have stayed and made a spectacle of themselves with being chained up to trees and tactics other protesters make when they are ordered by a court order to cease their protest. They did...they have no choice...hard to swallow the pill that they were wrong to encamp there and bother the daily lives of real students...they did resist at first and said they will leave on their own terms but the cops told them they will get removed by force...the had the common sense to avoid unnecessary force...
Ya, no.....They ran away, Geno, just like rats once there was even a hint that supporting Hamas might cause them some inconvenience. They have zero conviction to the pro-Palestinian cause. If they truly had conviction to the cause, they would have defied the order to make an example. There lack of conviction is the same as the street protestors. Nobody does anything of any substance to help Hamas. They are attention seeking phonies and cowards. Sort of like you when you are afraid to answer so many questions with a direct response.
What percentage of Jews in Israel do you believe are Zionists? Geno, there is no wrong answer, so there's nothing to fear. I'm just interested in what your personal perception is. Just like guessing how many jelly beans are in the jar. (Are you going to say that I'm comparing Gazans to jelly beans?)
Strategically they played it really smart...Violence and the necessity to use force was never going to help the optics of their cause.Ya, no.....
They did the right thing in the end. Played it all out through proper legal channels and accepted the loss. A very North American thing to do, and civilized. I assume they will continue to pursue this legally.
They are not cowards. That is absolutely wrong to say.
There was, I believe, the threat of expulsion as well. That investment loss was probably a deciding factor for students. The professional agitator, with little backing, saw the writing on the wall.Strategically they played it really smart...Violence and the necessity to use force was never going to help the optics of their cause.
The pity party has ran it's course...the City gave them enough time to talk among themselves and an easy way out of this situation without any harm done...They knew this the easy way out, they were able to save face and tell their followers to "fight another day" Their protests will not stop Israel from pursuing Hamas...Strategically they played it really smart...Violence and the necessity to use force was never going to help the optics of their cause.
I was not aware “the City” had anything to do with it.The pity party has ran it's course...the City gave them enough time to talk among themselves and an easy way out of this situation without any harm done...They knew this the easy way out, they were able to save face and tell their followers to "fight another day" Their protests will not stop Israel from pursuing Hamas...
There were lots of Jewish profs and students at the protests, its only the zionists that had their feelings hurt.So these students protesting aren't making life miserable for all the other students that attend the university. How about the Jewish professors that have been verbally attacked by them. And the the convoy only lasted 2 weeks. These protests have been going on for months.
No, Shazi. They ran away, Geno, just like rats once there was even a hint that supporting Hamas might cause them some inconvenience. They have zero conviction to the pro-Palestinian cause. We are talking about students across North America protesting against a genocidal regime that has destroyed every single university in Gaza on a campaign of genocide. 1 million kids have lost an entire year of schooling, their schools, their universities, their teachers and members of their families.Irrelevant and simply a deflection. We are talking about Toronto
It was the university.I was not aware “the City” had anything to do with it.
I thought it was the university that made the application to the Court?
Gimme a break. I clearly acknowledged that there is difference in the degrees of the two situations. The offences, themselves are not comparable.Nothing about it makes me “happy” but I can try to appreciate some sign of progress and respect for the Court. .
But cleaning up blood after a murder? Are you and Genocide Frank vying for the Drama Queen Pageant Crown?!?![]()

Nice round number to pull smoothly out of your ass!It was the university.
They spent $1 million to get the injunction.

The judge praised the protesters, Shazi.Gimme a break. I clearly acknowledged that there is difference in the degrees of the two situations. The offences, themselves are not comparable.
But, if you praise the illegal protesters because they didn't leave a mess, do you think that the murderer should be praised for cleaning up the blood. "I guess that murderer isn't so bad. He tried to clean up. It should be acknowledged." Maybe he deserves some lenience in his sentencing?
Toronto Jews are pretty split between zionist and anti zionists, skoob.Chow pretty much guaranteed that no Toronto Jews will ever vote for her again after she dissed them by not attending the flag raising ceremony.
Whether you believe she should have or shouldn't have is besides the point.
Fact is, just another nail in her next mayoral campaign coffin so to speak.
