Anyone who is rich has most certainly paid more taxes to become rich than someone who is poor and continues to pay more in taxes than someone who is less wealthy.
Just because your are jealous and feel entitled to their wealth doesn't mean they don't pay enough taxes.

Yes, we know, in your utopia you think everyone will pay a set amount of tax no matter what they make.
Like everyone, rich, poor and homeless, all have to pay $10,000 in tax or some random number.
You are against progressive tax because it means rich people pay more tax.

Ok, lets take a look at your plan.
You argue that rich people should not pay more taxes.
Canada's tax revenue is somewhere in the neighbourhood of $400 million/year and we have roughly 40 million people.
So for the purpose of this discussion we'll say that in order that rich people don't have to pay more taxes then everyone would have to pay $10,000 each.
This assumes that in your model business don't pay taxes at all, as you keep saying they shouldn't.
So that means you, your baby, your wife and your grandmother would all have to pay $10,000 each in taxes, regardless of how rich or poor so that the rich didn't have to pay more in taxes. Retired people, $10,000 each. Students - $10,000.
That would be the skoob total fairness tax plan.
That's your dream system, isn't it?
