The problem with a debate is its not like sports or court where there is a clearly defined outcome. Fox has already declared Trump the winner. It's no different than his failed presidency - the right wing will spin anything detrimental to fragile Donnie. Lose the 2020 election ? Fox claims fraud. Lose 3 court cases - fraud. There is no extent to which they will not lie to sooth their angry base and excite rage against democrats

I believe Fox acknowledged Trump lost the first debate in 2020. The level of candor is always going to differ based on the commentator.

Here's a useful exercise to help train an objective eye. Try to watch MSNBC's commentary with a critical perspective. Do the commentators present information in a fair, unadulterated way? Or do they bring an air of negativity to everything Trump said and champion Biden's every word.

Here's the hard part. Listen carefully to the Trump negatives and don't just nod. Think about the independent voter. Will they they have the same impression? Do they share the same exact view on policy and practice as the MSNBC commentator?

Jake Trapper and his crew are going to go right after Trump. Count on it. Their mission will be to make him look bad.

Trump is 4 years older and not as sharp as he used to be so I expect him to wilt somewhat under the pressure.

He's walking into an ambush and he knows but is still proceeding. He'll never have an answer for his election denials. Jan 6th is his death knell.

I'd love to see Both these guys drug screened...You know for transparency purposes and all.

''Sundowning'' is a real thing. Let's see how President Biden deals with it. Most of his appearances lately have been much earlier than this...

Let the games commence!

Look at it this way. If Biden wasn't so down in the polls, Biden would have never agreed to do this debate in the first place. Biden would have just hid in his basement, like he did in 2020.....LMAO

He will show up. There is nothing don the felon loves more than attention.if he didn't show up it would just be politican Biden speaking about things that are true and make sense. The WWE crowd is hungry for donnies nonsense
I mean, we know he lies like a cheap rug. So, I could totally see him saying that there was a breach of the agreement some how, and back out. At this point, I think it's even money he'll show up.

But, again, I wouldn't be shocked if he cancelled at the last minute...

You likely have confirmation bias. Liberals support Biden's legislation that initiates spending programs and more regulation. It is through that lens they see the political landscape. It is uncertain if Biden's major legislation is popular with voters.
I think there is a clear argument that can be made about what Biden has/is doing compared to Trump. Biden is spending on important stuff, like rebuilding America's crumbling infrastructure that has been neglected by all levels of government. Trump's big thing is tax cuts, but they really only benefit the wealthy, and that jacked up the federal deficit more than anything Biden's done.

You might be right. I hope so. However, it's possible the moderators will get lost in discussions on age and court cases both Trump's and Hunter's. Some TERB members will be cheering on these type of debate discussions. I would leave this to the candidate's advertising campaigns. No one who is voting in November will be unaware of this information.
I don't think the moderators will go down that path at all. I mean, I'm sure Biden will bring up something about Trump's conviction, and Trump will reference Hunter. But, I also think the moderators will try to keep it on track and discuss relevant policy issues. We'll see how that shakes out in a few hours!

You actually think CNN in unbiased? You have your head up Bidens ass? 😋
It is drastically less biased than Fox or Newsmax or any of the others. It isn't debatable, nor comparable. CNN and MSNBC will report bad news about Biden without having to spin shit. Fox and friends doesn't do that. They are fart catchers who try to make Trump's bullshit smell less repellent.

LOL....and what has he lost? Last I checked, Donnie boy continuously fails. How many times have his properties gone bankrupt? How many times have products he launched failed? Politically, he won one election, but lost the popular vote by MILLIONS. And, his record for those he endorrsed are not great. Let's look at the 2018/2022/2022 elections, where he DID not help the GOP.

Dude, Biden's never lost an election. And, there is a very good chance he won't in November.
