The second season of one of the more pleasant discoveries I made recently, Reginald the Vampire, has started.

I'm surprised since I heard that the show was canceled. I know that SyFy gets mocked a lot but they've produced a couple really solid series, the other is the excellent Resident Alien. I'm a fan of Alan Tudyk and he's brilliant in it.

Sometimes!! However, if a story interests me, I just go for it!!
Aside from trailers and reviews how do you know if a story interests you?

If the story is about money and power, like A Man in Full was, then I'm all in!! If a story is about science fiction, horror, vampires etc, then I'm out!!

It started off really good but its woke politics made me nauseous: no one is married, fathers are absent from parenting (sometimes for a daughters entire life), every adult is single or dating terminally serially, close friends outwardly lie to their close friends, no Caucasians are cast as normal [or heros], and they are constantly mocking Christianity. Why can't a story just be about the story? Why do the producers have to include all these subtexts?? Stopped watching after episode 3. The lead actress, Eiza González Reyna, is exceptionally beautiful. Probably would have stopped watching after episode 2 if she wasn't such a pleasure to look at.
Not to mention the world's greatest scientists, and not one is over 40, and not one is Jewish. Seriously?

I just started Obliterated on Netflix and it seems like it's going to be mindless fun.

Just to add to this, it's also a good show for all pissbabies I see here whining about everything being "woke". It's a raunchy throw-back to the action comedies of the 80's and 90's.

Of course, they'll probably still piss and moan about it being "woke" because the cast isn't a bunch of white cis straight guys with the token black and Latin characters.

Still, it does have a pretty good sex scene in the first episode. If Shelley Hennig has a boyfriend, he is a lucky man! Also, if I can find a provider who can ride cowgirl like that, she will 100% get my business! (Fastforward to the 1:10 mark.)

Fair warning, there's also an absolutely excruciating torture scene in one episode as well.

Nothing peaques my interest latest so I'm going back to a classic. The best crime drama since The Wire: Peaky Blinders. It's even better the second time around.

Tommy Boy Cruise could never pull off a scene like this:

I really do need to check out that show to see why it's so popular with edgelords.

Fallout, As much as I hate how they get everything wrong about nuclear war, seems it could be good
Frankly Speaking. Newscasters gets a shock [literal] and now starts actually saying what's on his mind
JK to Roppozensho Teenage girl from Northern Honshu passes the bar and becomes a lawyer/high school student
Loki I gave up on a few minutes into the first episode, the first season was meh.
Shogun, looks stunning but long winded but when I downloaded the episodes and transferred them to USB key for watching on the TV the subtitles didn't go with them so meh, saw the OG version as a lad on the telly and when I tried to rewatch it, I got board and fast forwarded to the part where the guy pisses on the other guys back.
Still watching Always on the move

Kinda glad Young Sheldon is over. It was no BBT and I just watched it because it was OK, not great.

King Arthur says, 'not another pissing scene', that was done in the original Shogun. I haven't watched the new Shogun, Hiroyuki Sanada is probably a fine actor but he stands under the looming shadow of Toshiro Mifune as Toranaga.

Leave it to Disney to snatch shit from a vein of gold. They cast Carrie Anne Moss in their latest Star Wars entry and completely waste her.

Apart from The Matrix, where would Christopher Nolan be without Carrie Anne Moss in Memento.

Just watched the first episode of the new season of "Mayor Of Kingstown", starring the "back from being almost dead due to his January 2023 seven-ton snow cat rollover accident" actor Jeremy Renner.

Third season. First episode a continuation of the second season drama. Gritty and recommended. On the surface Jeremy seems fully recovered.

Star Wars: The Acolyte is making easily triggered white victimhood anti-woke pissbabies froth at the mouth and I am there for it.

I started watching The Brothers Sun and it's been really good so far. It's a great mix of action and comedy with amazing fight scenes. And anything with Michelle Yeoh in it is an automatic win in my books. Too bad it's a Netflix one season wonder as I've dubbed them.

In fairness, I lost interest in Star Wars twenty years ago. However, why at this point would anyone argue with the Star Wars audience for rejecting what Disney is putting out with the franchise? Disney is a business.......a very big business. They need to serve their audience and no one else.

Don't be fooled by what Hollywood critics and insiders are saying. The audience is no. 1.
