This war is being prolonged by Bibi as an act of political self-preservation. He has also pretty much written off the hostages with the former spokesperson of the hostages saying he effectively ruined every hostage deal and the negotiators saying that he displays cold indifference to the fate of the hostages.

So yes, even if Hamas surrenders Bibi wont stop the war. Also dont forget the Israeli goals of ethnic cleansing. After all it is one of the most racist countries on the planet. That in and of itself is enough proof alright.

And lastly, numbers dont matter for it to be genocide. Which is why the UN special rapporteur has produced the report calling Israel's actions genocide along with the cases at the ICJ.
