Imagine being a poor Calgary Flames fan today. On the one hand, you have your mortal enemy, the hated Oilers. On the other hand, you have the Panthers who "stole" Keith Tkachuk from you. Unless the final is cancelled they won't be happy either way.
I imagine most Flames will begrudingly root for the Oilers, since at least they are a fellow Canadian team.

Jay Woodcroft. Obviously all the work he did with the team early in the year is what has lead to their success. Knoblauch just walked in and reaped the benefits of Woodcroft's genius groundwork. How could he have not already been hired as a GM and coach of some team. He needs total control. If the Oilers win, he should get his name on the cup and a full share of the payout.

Or maybe the Oilers' performance once he was canned proves that he may have been the worst coach in NHL history and that he'll probably never be hired again. LOL Whenever I'd watch him and when he was interviewed he just did not sound or look like an NHL coach. He was a total wimp.

Wow! Every once in a while you get lucky. 4 out of 4.

* Panthers in 7
* Stars in 6

Though I would love to see the Oilers win it all...
1 out of 2 but happy it was the Oilers who won. 11/14 for the play-offs!

The Panthers are playing very good hockey, are healthy, play with an edge (dirty...) and play tough. They hammered the Rangers and still have last years loss on their minds. Maurice also has them playing exceptional as a team.

On the other hand, the Oilers have been the best team in hockey since their dismal start. They have the best player in the game completely plugged in and beat two well balanced teams.

Keys to an Oiler win - Withstanding the physical play of the Panthers and not taking retaliatory penalties, continued success with special teams and consistent goal tending. They will also need to show they can score or Bobrovsky will get in to their heads. This is the time for McDavid to show the world that he is the best player in the game.

Keys to a Panther win - Continue with their physical style of play, stay out of the penalty box and Bobrovsky to do what he has done for the first three rounds. The one weakness of the Oilers is goal tending. If they can get to Skinner or Pickard, then their defense should shut down Edmonton.

I am hoping for a hard fought, fast paced 7 game series.

Leaning towards the Panthers, but would love to see the Oilers bring the cup back to Canada.

Sam Bennett is the dirtiest player in the league. Mark my words, he will try to injure McDavid.

Edmonton had about a week to prepare yet they consistently went low pad on Bobrovsky when the book on him is to go high.

Sadly Oilers didn’t measure up in game 1 and lost 3:0. Looks like Stanley won’t be coming back this year. Big Cats players all wanted to win and it showed.

Florida is in trouble. They look like they've run out of gas. As long as Skinner doesn't blow it Edmonton is looking good.

That water bottle toss was classic!

One of the reasons I loved watching the Bruins lose was because how Neely reacted.

We may be witnessing the 1st comeback in a SC final from down 3-0 in our lifetimes. If this happens then a SC for Toronto can't be that far away. Right? ;)
