Civilians getting killed is the definition of war. Pick any war in history and see if that does not apply.

Maybe if Hamas didn't embed themselves within the civilian population after attacking Israel and holding hostages, the collateral damage wouldn't be as high.

They're not being paid to protest. If protesting a cause they feel they believe in is important to them, they should quit their job and devote themselves fully to the cause.
