My guess is that non reporting it could draw attention to it and be disputed and discussed and it was more convenient to commit a crime to avoid attention.
If it had come out at the right moment, it might have had an effect.
Coming out later (as it did in 2018), very few people cared.

A few protesters?
"Genocide Joe" has been adopted by more than just a few protesters. You can stop making excuses now.
Once again you are pedalling misinformation with the "Genocide Joe" and now that the Democrats are "Weaponizing The Justice System" especially as Trump was found guilty of those 34 criminal charges in a Court of Law. Similar to him and his cronies losing all those Court battles about the 2020 Elections being "rigged"!! Biden has not been charged or alleged to have committed any crimes that are considered to be "genocide". But you still pedal all those blatant lies!!

I didn't say Politics.
I said an election.
Messaging is very important in an election.
It remains not the only thing.

I know you admire Trump's messaging.
He is very good at it and he plays the press's pathology very well.
But it has also been far from a guaranteed winner.
He has lost the popular vote in both general elections, and his ability to boost other people is inconsistent at best.

Here's your problem.

Trump always says people are lying about him, but Trump never takes the stand in any of these cases. He could have potentially beaten both the Cohen and Carroll testimony if he only took the stand and gave evidence.

Cohen is a hardcore sleazebag felon liar and Carroll was testifying about unwitnessed shit that went down 30 years ago and that would make her a ton of $$$$. These are beatable cases. But Pumpkinhead doesn't have the balls to take the stand.

He's a coward. He ran away from Vietnam and he flinches from testifying in court. So juries don't believe him because he doesn't back up his case by testifying.
Most defendants don't testify. From what I read he didn't testify because the questioning of him would not have been limited to this case but that they could ask him about a lot more. A no win situation.

Not to mention this was the first time this type of case was brought in New York where they used crimes passed the statures of limitations to prove another crime. There might be constitutional issue or due process issues. I don't know we will see.

How did they "commit the same crime"?

Please elaborate.
They both committed campaign finance laws, except Hillary Was charged by the FEC but Trump wasn't. He was only charged by New York for campaign finance violations which were passed the statute of limitations which were then used to bump it up to the felony of the false business records. 1st time ever this has been done in New York. LOL

Lara is more likely to get her way now, the vast majority of Repug money will now be going directly to the Trump campaign. Could turn out the Repugs wind up with the White House and Scotus, with the Dems having clear majorities in the House and Senate. Not a good posture internationally...

Here...I'll make it simpler for you to understand, and feel free to ask your friend Frankfooter about his opinion if you don't believe me...

The UN is pursuing cases about genocide re Israel.
Biden is supporting Israel. ie "Genocide Joe"

Are the rusted wheels starting to break free yet?

Are you arguing that breaking the law matters now, skoob?
Are you arguing that supporting genocide, like you do, is wrong?

Just pointing out to your girlfriend that "Genocide Joe" is actually something referring to Biden these days which he somehow has never heard of.

Feeling a touch homophobic along with genocidal again?

Are you cheering for more fraud, rape, coup attempts or felonies with rump round II?
