Which court? Who is going to take them to court? Who is going to arrest them? Who is going to enforce sentences? Israel has the power to assassinate Hamas. No one else has the power to do that to Israeli politicians. Bribery, fraud etc are silly charges, considering the crimes Bibi has committed which is genocide though.
The ICC charges against Netanyahu and his time are likely coming out this week.

Israel declaring they have the power to assassinate everyone they want is part of the problem, not a solution.
Hamas is not the problem, there will always be a resistance to the occupation. Kill everyone in Hamas and another group will rise in their ashes.
Unless you want to standing there saying then they all need to die, its not a good solution.

I agree killing everyone in Hamas, or even dismantling the ideology is not possible. Which is why this genocide will actually create more Hamas, whether or not they call themselves Hamas.

But killing the leaders can cripple them, without civilian casualties which is the approach they should have taken. It is impractical to expect Israel to not respond militarily at all. The only choice we have, is to pick what type of military strategy we think Israel should have adopted post October 7.

I told you already. Absolutely nothing will happen with the ICC. The ICC issued an arrest warrant for Putin, an adversary to the west. What happened? Nothing. He was still travelling to other countries with even Saudi Arabia the supposed American ally cozying up to him. ICC is a toothless organization. They are only good for picking on some dirt poor African nation's leader that no one even knows where to find on a map, and then proceed to lecture them on European moral superiority, only for the guy to balk at it, and go back to doing what he was doing earlier. lol.
You don't think Israel tried to kill every Hamas leader they could?
Why do you think they failed?

Putin can travel, sure, he can go to some client states travelling by his own planes.
But if places like Canada honour ICC decisions that means sanctions for Israel.

Its not perfect, but putting Israel on the same level as Putin, North Korea and Iran is not bad.

But they turned hospitals and schools into fortresses and had a tunnel network between them.

And attempt by the IDF to kill Hamas necessitates civilian casualties.
The leaders where not even there. They where in Quatar drinking champagne and fucking women. By slaughtering a whole population Israel as created assurance that these people will be enemies for life…

Go after and kill the Hamas fighters and leaders, continuing to killing and starving thousands of women and children is trying wipe a group of people off the face of the Earth Why hasn't Netanyahu gov't been working on a two-state solution, instead of trying to insulate himself from the judiciary. Bibi is a right-wing autocrat and deserves a lot of blame, Israel needs new leadership.
How is Israel supposed to just go after and kill Hamas fighters when they are in civilian clothes, hiding in hospitals and in vast networks of tunnels when using the women and children as shields? It is Hamas that is, for the most part, preventing food aid and medical supplies from getting in or stealing them when they do.

Remember the purpose of Hamas is to wipe out Israel and started this war with their murder, rape and burning on Oct 9th.

Biden has the entire time criticized Netanyahu for being too aggressive with too many civilian deaths, but Hamas fighters are not in any uniform, so you can not tell who are the fighters vs civilians who, on the whole, reject Hamas. Secty of State Blinken has been in the region trying to negotiate every few weeks, but it is Hamas that refuses a pause even with the release of a thousand of Hamas prisoners.

Biden trying to get Netanyahu to agree to a 2-state solution has been rejected both by Israel and Hamas. That, in my view, is the only long-term solution.

Now Biden is delaying some arms shipments; on the other hand, Israel needs and we should provide defensive weapons. Hamas just killed 3 Israeli fighters on Sunday by launching missiles into Israel. Hamas wants war, as does Israel, since it can no longer risk another attack and killing by Hamas.

It is a terribly complex situation, but it's not just "stop killing mothers and children." It is far more complicated than simplistic solutions.

Even more silly is the Defund Univ investments student protests. How does defunding Univ endowment investments in a company accomplish anything? If a Univ sells stock investments another buyer buys from them. It does nothing to hurt the targeted company unless it's an IPO, which, of course, Univ, don't deal in but typically are very conservative and have a fiduciary obligation to invest to benefit the university by wise investments, not what students want - that will not hurt the company anyway.

I support Israel, but I don't support the anti-democratic, corrupt leadership of Benjamin Netanyahu.

I do not support Israel(Netanyahu gov't) bombing the people of Gaza into submission.
I also support the State of Israel 100%, as soon as they return to their pre-1967 borders...

The higher ups are in Qatar. Mid level guys and foot soldiers are in Gaza. Hamas has - or had - its own army of rapists, kidnappers and murderers. There are a lot less of these scum now, thanks to the IDF.

The IDF isn't "slaughtering the whole population". And what the entire population of Gaza was groomed by Hamas for intifada and to hate Jews.

Bibi will be kicked out soon enough. Unlike Hamas in Gaza, Israel actually has a functioning democracy and doesn't throw opposition candidates off the roofs of hi-rises.

Dave, Israel are the aggressors here.

The 75 occupation of Palestine and wiping it off the maps while continuing to take Palestinian land and rule through apartheid is why Palestinians and Hamas are using violence against their oppressors.

Palestinian resistance will continue until the occupation ends or Netanyahu enacts a final solution.

What should have been the proper response to Oct 7th then?
They have no choice, Hamas doesn't give a shit of the civilians, they're used as human shields. But the Gaza civilians did vote for Hamas in 2006 and they joined them in the kidnapping and killing of Oct 7. Hamas are an offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood and are dictators, I think the Palestinians now regreted putting them in charge. But no other country would've acted differently than Israel, you can't have Islamic terrorists as neighbors after what hamas did.

Finally seems like US is at least curtailing some weapons shipments, if GB and Germany follow suit it might add up to some leverage to at least pause the ethnic cleansing...

Well , usually Israel kills 10x as many Palestinians as Jews killed, but this time they"ve killed 30 x as many ( and counting) and are actively starving the rest while destroying all the infrastructure..... is that not way too much Mr Genocide?

They're not "actively starving the rest". Please go and read some material on what is actually occurring.

Let's do the math this way: Accepting the bullshit Hamas figures as genuine and accurate - simply to please you - Hamas has to do 7 October 30 times to equal the Israeli destruction to date. (That's leaving aside the endless missile attacks).

Hamas would undoubtedly do far more than 30 7 Octobers if given the chance. So the Israeli response is proportionate.

And Israel has a right of self defence that outweighs any obligation to not kill Gazans. Let's do it this way:

The US took about 300,000 casualties in WW2. It inflicted many times that - including civilian casualties - on Germany. On your analysis, the US committed a war crime in fighting against Germany and Hitler should have continued being the Fuhrer until whenever he died from natural causes.

On your analysis, when the US inflicted 299,999 casualties on Germany, it should have said "My goodness, we are 1 casualty away from committing a war crime and angering Wigglee. We must stop and bring our soldiers home at once!"

Don't execute ethnic cleansing raids into the West Bank prior to Oct 7th, then it wouldn't have happened.
Can you give me some details of what those raids actually were..... ????
