Somewhere in the middle of last nights game, Guerrero changed his batting his batting stance only to revert back to the old one in his next AB. Complete Dalton Varsho style. Stiff front leg, open stance, weight back… Guerrero is so lost at the plate. When will this end?

And I wonder if it's starting to affect his defense as well.

You really have to give Shatkins credit for not extending him, especially after the 2021 season. I just hope they trade him as I can't stand him, but that's besides the point. He's has to be the most over rated player in the league.

I still believe in this team. But I don’t believe in Guerrero. I think everyone is frustrated with him. That error last night was brutal.

It is so annoying to watch him play. He plays like Skipper and Gilligan lost at sea. Demanding an instant replay because he controls the game, as he rubs noses with the league elite at first base. I’m not sure if the Blue Jays are just being cheap, or if they really have determined Guerrero is not worth it.

His homerun trot, his demand for instant replay, making a safe gesture for himself on a close play…. Etc. etc. him swinging at a curveball a foot outside at least two times every game, inability to cash in runners…. and him being too immature to really recognize how ridiculous he looks like he’s strutting his stuff as a superstar that doesn’t deserve it.

I think Shack said it before….. he’s an immature child trapped in a man’s body.

….and then running away like a “catch me if you can” 10-year-old. Who is the genius that ever thought this kid was going to lead us to a championship? The talent is there. Maybe he is just un-coachabld. Aside from his earth shattering exit velocity groundouts, why can he not snap out of this?

KK placed on 10 day IL, Addison Barger called up, this skid is young and eager, hopefully he can spark this pathetic offense.

I say DFA Vogelbach, bring up Spencer Horwwitz to play 1st base and bench Vladdy for a while!

How bad does Vlad have to get before the manager does something? His playoff performance - especially getting picked off - has just continued. He likes sitting on the far end of the dugout...leave him there for a few games. And this would take guts....send him to Buffalo for a couple weeks

Vlad has struggled but hes just one guy. This is year 2 of a putrid offence that cant hit with RISP. Again vlad is one guy there are plenty of players to point a finger at.

Atkins promised to address the Jays' biggest weakness in the off-season.

He made a phony run at Ohtani, didn't seriously try to get any impact hitters and then declared that he liked the team he had.

Executive of the year?

I agree, but Turner is looking like a good acquisition.......so far.

I've been pleasantly surprised. He's a good addition.

But he was never going to be an impact bat that could single-handedly revive the dormant bats of last year which was their biggest need. He could be a complementary piece/a depth bat in an already good offence, which they don't have. They couldn't cash men in scoring position last year and that has not changed. I think they're near the bottom of the majors in BA with men in scoring position and near the top in runners LOB.

Did they think that giving Don Mattingly a new title would make a substantive difference? Vlad looks to be continuing his steady 3 year slide and this is the worst I've ever seen Bo start a season. He and Vlad look like they've had the life sucked out of them.

Kiermaier was better last year and Kirk is a black hole in the batting order. It seems that most of his ABs are with 2 out and men in scoring position. You just know that the next thing you're seeing is a commercial and it's not because the opposition is making a pitcher change. It deflates me and I can only imagine how his teammates feel. In the time he's been here he's had one good half-season, his very 1st, and Atkins seems to feel he's going to magically repeat what he did for a short time 2 years ago. It looks like it was a one-off and convinced management that they could trade Moreno instead.

Guess i won't have to worry about getting some good offers on the A and W app this weekend. This just keeps getting worse and worse.
