Because there are a number of factors that affect the price of this or that.. how many times do we have to cover it. And participation ribbons count for shit or haven’t you learned that yet? When someone you owe $100 billion to wants their $$$$. Do you think that person gives a rats ass…..or when a ceo wants to expand a plant to make and bottle beer and hire 100 people. But is trying to figure out where in the world to risk a few hundred million and what currency to borrow…Do you think they give a rats ass about participation ribbons?

One thing of about 7 that causes inflation is “supply chains”..At home and abroad. The people you call free dumb truckers, and farmers here at home have bills too. Another is wages, here at home and across the pond too…another is the supply of money. If you have 1 buck today, but tomorrow I print 5 bucks. How many bucks are in the system trying to buy 1 beer. In the same way 5 people with 1 million bucks are trying to buy 1 house that yesterday was worth 500,000.

So what happens when three of seven are happening at the same time. And you stupidly throw gas on a fire

So does the value of the peso, usd, Eur, cad.
simple question for you Beaver. If you have 1 dollar today and that buck buys 1 beer in Mexico. Next year you return but the cad/peso is 0.5, instead of at par..How many cads do you need to buy 1 beer on a Mexican beach.

Then Because you scratched a ticket and won cash for life…You hop on a plane with your pesos, and fly to Amsterdam for a few days of fun. The spot CAD/EUR is 0.72 and the EUR/CAD is 1.29. How many CADs will you get with 1,000 pesos. After the bank takes 260 basis points because they have bills and employees too that need to eat.. So you can buy a blowjob from a CAD SP that’s flying home the next day, so she wants CAD from you. So she can buy lunch, and a Heiniken at YYZ
So it was okay for Harper to start all the deficits and pretended that he was "balancing" the budget. All he did was to make some hasty decisions in the manner in which he shut down many of the essential services etc at the very end. He left a mess and an economy still in a recession. The triggering of the economy helped to get Canada back on its feet. Had it not been for the Pandemic where the Provinces shut down their economies, Canada would have been a booming economy.

Now why are people actually taking out mortgages and loans to purchase a house? That is because it will be a future investment although they will be on the hook for the mortgage in numerous cases for a couple of decades. Now in spite of this mortgage a number of them take out further loans to purchase a car. It helps them in their commute to their offices so that they can then earn the dollars to pay for their mortgages and car loans. In other words it is a benefit in the long run. This is why The Government has to spend to build the infrastructure, and contribute to the growth of the economy. Otherwise, why is DOFO overspending but in his case with no real investment in the Health as well as the Education Sectors? You give the Conns a pass for their expenditures but always try to hold a Non-Conservative government to full account, with your baseless comparisons!!

Maybe your forgetting like so many Other things you’ve forgotten.

2008 and trying to keep things going until a bunch of politicians threatened a coalition no-one wanted if he didn’t open the purse strings.

Nor will I bother with the rest of your drivel and gibberish. I’m sure you know why.

Maybe you were not aware that Harper refused to admit that Canada was in a recession under his tenure. It is only when the employment rate rose to a 11 year high of 8.4% that he had no alternative but to get involved to help the Canadians who were jobless as there were no real job vacancies, and growth was in negative territories!!

says the guy that for a very short list.
Doesn’t know what a disaster is or isn’t.
Doesn’t grasp that inflation and jobs growth are related. Nor the BoCs monetary policy and bands targets of 2%
Calls people free dumb truckers
Doesn’t grasp imports/exports and foreign exchange
Doesn’t grasp why Japan is a terrible example
Doesn’t know what endorsement means
Doesn’t know why Canada escaped the worst of 2008
Doesn’t remember a coalition and parliamentary crises no-one wanted during a worldwide crises. Because they were sore losers. Yet you have a lot to say about Trump.
Doesn’t remember manufacturing ( not related to 2008)
Nor were world oil prices in 2012 his doing.

want me to continue?

The Ontario Liberals still hold world records for debt.
Regardless who would have taken over after 15 years of their reckless spending would need more than 6 years to fix that mess. Throw in a global pandemic and it makes fixing their mess even more of a challenge.
Not anymore.
DoFo holds it hands down.
He added $100 billion to Ontario debt.

He's spent way more while cutting services.
It all went to developers and corporations.

Your usual gibberish, and once again you cannot accept the real facts. Obviously, you go on with your senseless and meaningless yara, yara, Yara.
You adore the FreeDumb Truckers who held Ottawa to hostage for around a month, blocked the supply chains between Canada and our biggest Trade partner.
I know more than you will ever do so, especially with your far right brainwashed train of thoughts!!
Keep on going on and on with your 100% gibberish.
Your buddy Ford has just tabled a budget of record spending and a huge $10 Billion deficit. Of course he will get a pass from the likes of you!!

Ford government tables $214.5B spending budget, largest in Ontario history, as deficit grows to $9.8B:

drinking the koolaid again are you FFs
1) Wynne was trying to reign in spending. Wage restraints and what not
2) because during their tenure, while you kept voting for them. Ontarios net debt increased from 129B to 340B

3) and an expert they cherry picked ripped the lid off the garbage can and ripped them new ones.

4) then wrote 600 pages about how to fix it

5) you wouldn’t listen and still dont

with respect to the 2024. Haven’t found time yet. I can already tell you don’t have the first clue. What happens when you expect a certain amount of money. Then for some reason, it doesn’t arrive? In plain English. Revenue was not what they projected.

6) what does DoFo have to do with PP and JT

Typical team lefty village idiot delections and gibberish.

.Happens when drunk on koolaid, spin and gibberish and wee little leaguer hard ons of anger and embarrassment.
( see post above and 278)

Have you taken the time to separate fact from fiction. Partisan spin and Koolaid, noise from signal. Read it yourself? And unbiased experts?

Nope
Because it too much, too hard and filled with gibberish you don’t grasp. Just like the Drummond Commission you guys haven’t read or absorbed ..

So like the lemmings you are, fast to jump off the cliff into the SM bandwagon filled with Koolaid and spin of present day politics on Twit er and MSM who are in the business of trying hard to keep their revenues….and budgets balanced. Which these days is getting very hard. Whether R or L.

But on that topic “where are you”. The center of the universe, that’s filled with Liberal voters. So with respect to Koolaid and Spin. Which side sees the greatest volume of spin Koolaid. (twit er is especially bad, they have algorithms to feed you what you like and your biased ) just like advertising “where are you” or what brand of $1 beer you like.

Nor do lemmings read anything else, or from anywhere else. Like outside the heavily drunk on spin Koolaid and self centered gta. That MSM and twit er need for their revenues.

1) spending might be the largest because 9b more has been added. From last years and the previous 20 years. But you might want to think of the train wreck he inherited and experts you won’t listen to.

2) what happen when you expect to receive “204b in revenue in 2023, but only receive 194b”?
Amid a rapidly slowing economy, Ontario Finance Minister Peter Bethlenfalvy has tabled a record $214.5-billion budget with $9.8-billion deficit for 2024-25 — a staggering $10-billion swing from the $200-million surplus he projected last March.
3) do you know what the 9b was spent on? Was it spent on good debt or bad debt? Say like infrastructure to create jobs, or LTCs?

Keep swimming in Koolaid Layman that’s doesn’t grasp basics of budgets….or politics…. Or even words like Endoresment, projections, allocations

The thread is also about PP rolling right over you, JT Ottawa and Canada like semi trucks. Nor can you even grasp the basics of that either.

All that up there are just facts. Something I tend to work with and stick with. If you don’t like that either. Deal with it. That’s your problem……dumb red neck lemming.

We know, you're too busying going over the 2012 Drummond report to find Sammy's quote and reply to know what's been happening in the last decade.
