I am fully vaccinated, believe in vaccinations of all kinds, and I haven't had Covid once as far as I can tell. Maybe so mild due to vax/healthy immune system, healthy lifestyle, etc.
I think Trudeau dropped the ball on Canada's preparedness and handling of the pandemic at least initially when it was most critical. He also created further division among Canadians.
I think the truckers convoy happened too late to have the impact they expected. I didn't agree with the length of their protest, but I also didn't agree with invoking the emergencies act to end it.
Lastly, I believe Trudeau invoked the act as a political stunt and he shouldn't have. He violated the charter of rights as a result of the court ruling. Add that to the long list of ethics violations and Trudeau is telling Canadians that rules don't apply to him.

Prior to the pandemic many Canadian railways were blocked for months by Indigenous groups that affected Canada's supply chain and passenger routes severely. No emergencies act was invoked. That wouldn't have looked good on him politically.

So now answer my question:

Well the invitation once again to the Parliament was purely from The Speaker. If he had not invited him to the Parliament, there would not have been this hue and cry. Trudeau's office's invitation to the Ukrainian Canadian Rally was at the behest of the Ukrainian Canadian Committee. But this individual did not show up for it and hence if he was not invited to Parliament in the first place by the Speaker this would never have been an issue!!
