Bill likes him but can't articulate why?..LOL.
I watched this. Did you notice Patrick had asked to have some Tequila, emptied his water glass and Mahar ignored the request after he had acknowledged it? Bill believes Patrick is a twat, albeit a very rich twat. I think he was already drunk and just forgot plus he wasn't prepared to answer why Gavin is a beast.

All he had to do was a simple google search to easily back up Newsom's record.

Take another look at the swing state polling. And remember its as much about voter turnout. Muslims have basically said under no circumstances will they vote for him now. Hispanics are flowing away in droves. Even 20% of black man are on side now. And the narrow margins that these constituencies supply are in real jeopardy.
Once it comes down to Trump vs Biden the Muslims will once again jump on board the Biden coattails. They realize Palestinians and Muslims in general are a lot worse off under Trump than a Biden administration. Most soft middle and independents will not vote for Trump and just the fact Trump is in the running will bring out the hoards of anyone but Trump votes.

Dude. They are refusing to even meet with him, protesting him, and absolutely not giving him money. They are reasonably looking at him and saying he is NOT an ally in any way. As are other groups.

If Biden loses will you blame voters? Or the candidate and the party?

So you believe they will vote for Trump or your famous third-party fantasy?

You didn't read what I said did you? I said they would stay home, or add on only vote down ballot. That is actually what happened in Michigan in 2016 and why Hillary lost.

So if this occurs, who will you blame?

You obviously didn't read what I said but I highlighted it for you.

I did. What I am saying is a number of those voters are now saying they don't think it matters. Muslim ban, or send bombs to kill family and friends. Same policies. And yes, therevare people who will declare "a pox on both houses" and just not vote.

And the economy, especially inflation, has really affected people. They will look at their bank accounts when choosing who to vote for, or whether to bother voting.

And this going on in several swing states.

How much "anyone but Trump" vote is there is unknown.
After 4 years of him being President, it was very high, but with time people forget and are annoyed at the things of the moment.
Sure, seeing him on TV all the time could bring it back, but maybe not.

The other aspect to keep in mind is about your first sentence. As the forum here on TERB has shown repeatedly, lots of people cling to the idea that their vote is about "who they support" and not "who they prefer".
That drives a lot of people to stay home or otherwise vote against their interests because they don't understand how the system works.

The possibility is there for him to some how win but considering his track record since his 2016 win, it doesn't look very promising for the Trump camp.

Biden is the better man of the two but I would much prefer seeing a Newsome vs Haley run for the Whitehouse. I would still cheer for Gavin but wouldn't be overly worried for the US if Haley won.
That's a very plausible 2028 match up.

They may understand how the system works but just have different priorities than you, valcazar.

Not the ones who think "my vote is about who I support".
That's just misunderstanding what voting is actually doing and clinging to a myth of what they "want it to do".

The people who understand that but vote Third party for other tactical or messaging reasons but understand the consequences just have different priorities.
