Not only doing it voluntarily, but initiating it. OP needs to take control of his own impulses. Who’s exploiting who here? Take responsibility. No shit. And you just want their bodies. No one is exploiting you. You're doing this voluntarily.

Depends on the drug. I don't believe sellers of alcohol, THC, nicotine or caffeine are exploiting their customers, unless they are targeting minors.A drug addict buys drugs voluntarily. Does that mean the dealers are not exploiting the addicts?
Consider yourself fortunate to have so many amazing ladies here to choose without any fuss. Sting operations are prevalent in the US and your picture could be posted on the evening news for soliciting an escort for your employer, friends and family to see.every time I "finish" with an escort, I am super happy, good mood and over the moon.
By the end of the day, I feel regretful, after the dent in my wallet and my "values" !
I cant help thinking that those ladies are just taking advantage of us, sex addicts. - Like an easy way to get our money!
I believe I am an addict, I cant help it - I try therapy for long. Its not working. I think it will only work if I unplug from the internet and all the temptations that come with it (social media, porn, movies, etc) which I find to be super hard to do.
Some SPs are so nice and you feel really at home with them during the "session" but most of them I feel they are just actors who want my money!
Sorry for the harsh "thinking out loud" post
One could argue that the government is profiting from our alcohol dependencies via the LCBO. The flipside of living in a supposedly free and democratic society is that we are at liberty to allow our desires to consume us completely. It’s up to us to be moderate in our indulgences.Of course they are.
It does take a different type of women to do this job. Letting a stranger into a safe space to have sex with.
Alot of times I feel the same way you do on my way home after the deed. It's like "why did I waste my money like that"
But a few days later it's " hmm who's available today?"
Don't look at them with disrespect for making money off us. We use them for easy sex. So we are both(SP and John) in the same boat.
We use each other for what we want and need.
Anyone in this for the wrong reasons - I will cut off from me personally. With an open conversation depending on the reason. So Sex addict, to use and dispose of women (ie angry man syndrome, as in taking their hatred out of women on me by wanting to cum all over my face. Over the guy who just loves to a see a pretty girl in a facial), over emotionally involved, etc.Suppose you suspected that one of your regular clients had developed a “sex addiction?” Maybe by getting to know him over time you begin to notice that he’s visiting more often, spending more money than usual, or something just seemed off?
Would you raise the issue with him? Cut him off?
Just wondering
It’s not exploitation at all… Rather, think of it as a symbiotic relationship of sorts. Both parties get what they want and walk away with no strings attached. In some cases, it can evolve as well. I’ve been seeing one lady for over 17 years and we’ve become friends. I feel it makes it a much more relaxed and intimate session when we see one another.every time I "finish" with an escort, I am super happy, good mood and over the moon.

I'm going to tell you now you are thinking irrationally. Lady posts ad says 400$ hours. You respond to add and purchase .shes selling service. you get served. then you think she's evil for giving you a good time. here are video games there's an arcade in the 80s id spend my job paycheck at the arcade. ii was addicted to games. Should i hate the game or hate the player that has the high score i can't beat? Should i graffiti the arcade because i can't stop playing video games? Or should i just say to myself I'm addicted and i have to budget myself and if i can't control my spending then seek an addiction counsellor? but for god's sake do you not see how irrational your thinking is to be mad at women doing their job well?every time I "finish" with an escort, I am super happy, good mood and over the moon.

You're almost on the right path, now lets apply this to shelter, food, and all services required for proper human development (health care, education, child care, etc), and you might be on to something.I wouldn’t say the SPs are exploiting an addiction, but I would say whoever winds up with the money is exploiting a fundamental human drive.
I’ve got it pretty much dialled in. The key word is exploit; which implies an unfair exchange or that someone is being taken advantage of. The most exploitive scenario would involve two people at the bottom end of the social ladder (say a close to minimum wage worker and a street walker). The last time I interacted with a street walker was 2017; a lot lizard offered me outdoor sex for $60 (I declined) when I was walking across a truck stop parking lot to get to my favourite massage place. What she was offering was about 15 minutes of work for her. Now, you compare that to her male equivalent: an unskilled minimum wage earner with social difficulties (which preclude him from getting a civilian sex partner). Minimum wage in Calgary in 2017 was around $15/hr; so this guy will have to work 4 hrs to get 15 minutes of this woman’s time. That’s an exchange ratio of 16:1 for unskilled labour. When you consider the tendency of the sex drive to cloud judgement, this is an exploitive transaction. You're almost on the right path, now lets apply this to shelter, food, and all services required for proper human development (health care, education, child care, etc), and you might be on to something.
I stopped reading at lot lizard, anyone with that level of whorophobia and misogyny will never be able to present a critical analysis worth my time and effort to read or respond to.I’ve got it pretty much dialled in. The situation becomes less exploitive as you diverge from the scenario given; for a higher status male, with more money and more access to civilian sex, using a prostitute is more of a choice and less of a need, and, it also represents a more balanced exchange of labour. Similarly, as you move away from a back alley street walker towards a higher status woman who provides more of a service the exchange of labour becomes more balanced. For example, at the other end of the spectrum you have someone like Bezos using the services of someone like Heidi Fleiss; everybody their has other options and exchange of labour is skewed towards the buyer.
