She is eligible to run for President of the United States in 2028.
I really believe that she'll run for POTUS in 2048, or '52, and win. She'd be 58 - 62 years old at that point.
At that point, almost all of the Baby Boomers will be dead, the oldest Millennials will be senior citizens, and all of Gen Z will be old enough to vote. I would expect that she'd have more than enough money to fund her own campaign. She'd have a big advantage over career politicians, because many young people swipe past political news on their phones, so all of the voters would know who she is. Taylor has a long history of charitable donations to victims of natural disasters, and those are likely to increase significantly, with climate change.
As a celebrity in a celebrity culture she would have a big leg up.
I doubt she has any real interest in the job, though.

Trump was talking about running for President by the late 80s and first ran back in 2000 before dropping out because he wasn't getting anywhere.
I don't see Swift talking about Politics much at all. She has endorsed a couple of people and encouraged people to vote, that's it.
Did Schwarzenegger talk about politics much in his earlier years? I don’t recall ever hearing anything about him running until he was towards the end of his film career.

Ventura ran for mayor in his hometown when he quit WWE. I don't know how much he talked openly about politics before that, but starting with a small, local office and then going bigger is pretty typical.
So fair enough - I'd say for both of them you got about 5-10 years of hints before they went bigger? So twenty years out I guess we shouldn't try to make a guess.

Twenty to twenty-five years from now, The baby boomers who are still living will be a tiny minority. All of Gen X will be senior citizens. Taylor would be 55-60 years old, which is way too old to be a pop star. All of the voters will know who she is, and I can see her wanting to exchange some of her money for power at that point. She would have the financial resources to bankroll a campaign without having obligations to the groups and individuals why usually pull a politician's strings.
