If anybody had any doubts about the "western" world being supportive of the ethnic cleansing of Gaza, the pause of the funding of UNWRA makes it very clear.

It also means, that if ICJ finds Israel guilty of genocide, the western countries will be next to be accused of genocide. I doubt very much that ICJ will find Israel guilty, even as it is obvious, because it would put the whole UN into question and chaos.
As will not finding Israel guilty. Finding Israel guilty would be the best thing that happened to Israel. Without it, the payback is going to be horrendous.

While there may be a little more merit to that. If you don’t like the western world and want it to fail…unlike most ME nations that treat many of its citizens as little more than chattel…and maybe that partly explains why the west…

it’s a free world…

Then you wouldn't have any problem asking your friends to stop the genocide, because the ICJ just said there was.
They absolutely did not make a specific designation as such. Show me where the phrase "Israel must stop the genocide" or "we have determined that Israel has committed genocide" appears in their statement.

There is plausibility that you are a raving anti-Semite and want the Jews ethnically cleansed from Israel.

They were NOT told to stop. Show us where ICJ explicitly said that Israel needs to stop the genocide. Was the word "stop" even in the ruling at all?
They were told to not commit any acts that contravene the Genocide Convention.
We know you don't believe there is genocide going on but the entire world does and sees this as Israel must stop committing genocide.

Read the ruling and tell me where it says Israel can keep doing what its doing exactly the same way.

Israel was told to not destroy any evidence of genocide for trial, report in 30 days on what they've changed and arrest those who incite genocide.
They were also told to allow all aid in and instead Israel worked to block funding for the UNRWA.

Israel will go to trial for genocide.
congrats

zionism = genocide and will forever be remembered as fondly as nazis.

To quote your KKK buddies when they attempt to justify Oct. 7, they like to say "things happen for a reason" or "things don't happen in a vacuum".

Well, there's a reason that these countries were pouring in millions and millions in aid, but have now suddenly stopped. It didn't happen in a vacuum and it had nothing to do with supporting genocide, otherwise they'd have pulled funding long ago. UNWRA fucked themselves by reneging on their mandate.

It is truly fascinating what will happen. Clearly, the case for genocide is getting stronger, as Israel if anything is stepping up ethnic cleansing, and the pause of funding for UNWRA is strengthening the famine and health problems in Gaza.

I think it may be the end of UN as we know it. A genocide verdict will be ignored by the west, and UN will be meaningless. A no genocide verdict will make UN meaningless.

There will be big consequences.

Israel has been trying to kill the UNRWA for years.
They want to accelerate the genocide.

The very fact that the ICJ ruled that way, is tactful acknowledgement of genocide.
They do not give cryptic rulings that need to be interpreted. If they felt there was genocide they'd have clearly said so. But they didn't. You're farting in the wind

Why did the ICJ order Israel to save all evidence of possible genocide?
Why did the ICJ order Israel to report back in 30 days if there was no genocide?

Ethnic cleansing and genocide has always been Israel's goal.

They did. They asked Israel to stop incitement to genocide, which mean incitement exists. They also asked Israel to stop genocidal activities,
Maybe, as someone recently pointed, you have problems with English as your second language.

They told Israel not to engage in certain activities. They did NOT tell Israel to STOP said activities.

Or maybe your English is fine. You just prefer lying instead.

Well am surprised English is even your first language.

"Do not engage in genocidal activities" = "Stop genocide". Genocide is comprised of certain activities. Israel has been asked to stop those activities, that amount to genocide.

What is this Grade 1 English class?!
Well, whatever class this is, you're getting a failing grade. "Do not engage in genocidal activities" is a prohibition, not a condemnation. You might have to crack open a dictionary for these terms.

None of which changes the fact they DID NOT state that Israel has committed genocide.

All you have are your biased interpretations of what you think is a cryptic message from ICJ. If true, they would have unequivocally said "Israel has committed genocide." No interpretations or analysis would be required.

Keep looking, but it's nowhere to be found in their ruling.
