Wild Card Analysys and Predictions
AFC

1. Cleveland at Houston: Houston, you have a problem. The Cleveland defense will clamp down on rookie QB CJ Stroud. And Joe Flacco will make enough plays for a Browns win
2. Miami at Kansas City: Miami defense is decimated with injuries. Plus they are not tough enough for cold weather. Mahomes will finally find Kelce, Tareek Hill will be zoned out. KC win
3. Pittsburgh at Buffalo: Pittsburgh no match for Buffalo without TJ Watt. Buffalo will send Pittsburgh back home with their tails between their legs.
NFC
1. Green Bay at Dallas: Dallas is 8-0 at home. Prescott to Cee Dee Lamb for easy Dallas win
2. Los Angeles at Detroit: This is the best matchup of the weekend. But Detroit without injured TE Sam LaPorta will not score enough points to match explosive Stafford to Puca and Kupp. Los Angeles win
3. Philadelphia at Tampa: The Eagles defense was the second worse by many metrics. Plus QB Jalen Hurts has a problem finger on his throwing hand. Tampa win
Went 3-3. Not bad.

The predicted implosion of the Eagles came to pass. The DBs could neither cover nor tackle. And Tampa, who could only muster 9 points against the woeful Carolina defense, dropped 32 points on them. Meanwhile, the offense could not counter the Tampa blitz and went the whole second half without scoring a single point. And with that, heads are going to roll in Philadelphia. Weather that includes HC Siriani remains to be seen.

The mauling of the Cowboys by the Packers in Dallas was the most shocking result of the wild card round. Packers QB Jordan Love was like the second coming of Tom Brady while Cowboys QB Dak Prescott proved he cannot handle presssure. HC Mike McCarthy is going to leave by "mutual consent". Remember Packers CB Jaire Alexander, who barged in on the coin toss in Carolina and was suspended a game? He came up with a clutch interception to prove his worth

Congratulations to the Lions for winning their first playoff game in 32 years. And cheers to QB Jared Goff for delivering when it mattered. HC Dan Campbell has the team believing and the Lions on the prowl are dangerous

In other news, Bill Belichick interviewed for the vacant HC position at Atlanta Falcons. I dont know why but one name should serve as a red flag. And that is Patriots QB Mac Jones. He set the NCAA records for passer rating and completion percentage at Alabama and won the CFP in 2021. He was selected by the Patriots with the 15th pick in 2021. He had a successful rookie season, leading the Patriots to a playoff berth and earning Pro Bowl honors. He has been a bust ever since. If Bill Belichick could not make a success out of the stud Mac Jones, why on earth does anyone think he would succeed with another QB, which is what Atlanta desparately needs. Belichick made Tom Brady and Tom Brady made Belichick. Thats it and not to be duplicated.

Speaking of Belichick, his two sons Steve and Brian are coaches with the Patriots. Steve coaches linebackers and Brian coaches safeties. Blatant nepotism. Patriots asked both of them to stay. Shall see what happens.

I like;
Baltimore, hard to bet against them.
Buffalo because Allen seemed to realize last game that forcing it causes turnovers. He plays smart and takes what's given and they win.
Detroit, Tampa's good season ends.
San Fran but I think it will be closer than people think.

1. Houston lost at Baltimore in Week 1 25-9. And even though CJ Stroud has improved considerably, it will not be enough. Baltimore signed RB Dalvin Cook and looks like TE Mark Andrews is going to play. Baltimore win
2. The Bills won 20-17 at KC in Week 14. This is the game when a sensational shuffle pass by Kelce was negated by offside Toney penalty. Kelce seems distracted by Taylor Swift and not firing on all cylinders. Bills win
3. The most lopsided game will be 4ers laying a beating on the Packers. Brock Purdy not getting enough credit but he has been sensational. Together with CMC, Deebo, Kittle, 49ers just too strong
4. Lions won 20-6 at Tampa in Week 6. But Tampa defense is playing awesome while Lions defense not that great. Baker Mayfield to Mike Evans will register an upset against the Lions

Raiders beating Chiefs at Arrowhead sealed it. So as predicted, the interim tag has been removed from Antonio Pierce by the Raiders. He has been confirmed as the new HC 👏

Spread...I have not bet on FB for a couple of years but if I was to guess:

* Hou +9.5
* GB +10
* Det -6
* Bills -2,5
Thanks for the feedback.

I'm betting some cash on all the faves and in my pool I'm betting the max number of points I can on the Lions.
