Granted I have not met every SP who ever lived but it seems the majority of whom I met are escorting only as a side hustle.
I would agree.yeah it just depends on the person, and the reason they're getting into it. some people do it because it's a means toward achieving a goal, others it's a viable career choice because they enjoy it/ it suits their hours/work style.
i think people in the industry feel judged if they tell people that this is their career and they don't have an "out" planned. i think many SWers feel social pressure to say that the work is only temporary, or a side hustle. because there's still a lot of stigma around choosing this path.
This applies to everyone: employee or self-employed. You have to have a life outside of what you do for money or else you have nothing.I think it is good that some/many/most ladies have a life outside of escorting.
One of my encounters was with a girl/woman who said she loved dancing and is a "Raptorgirl". She even said I could said hello to her when I'm at a Raptor game.
Just like hockey players, it's a short career and one should always plan for the day when the music stops, the bright lights dimmed and the phone no longer rings.Definitely a side hustle, just ask those ladies who had been on the escort agencies' schedule since 10 years ago.
A majority of the SP's I have enjoyed my time were studying Psychology or Nursing. Also SP's with white-collar jobs (one was a former lawyer another worked in HR).In my experience, many say they are students.
I am with her (mostly) and it really comes back to the spectrum I commented upon earlier. This is a profession. The men/women that do it are self employed. The professional career oriented ones end up with a lucrative business and retirement is understandably their exit plan. I have met woman in their late 40s and 50s that are clearly doing quite well. Not that they are bragging - it’s just obvious they they own multiple properties and have put their kids through undergrad (as an example) when you talk to them. Why does an escort need an “exit” plan?
Why can’t she have a career of like 30 years. Say from 20-50 and then retire early like a fat cat CEO?
Why is retiring off all your escorting money after a full career of working - not considered an exit plan like any other job?
There are plenty of women right now working in their 50s. Y’all think they are 35-45 but they are in their 50s. And killing it.
This “exit” plan idea seem like it is from a guy who feels escorts can only do this for a couple of years. Or while their are in their 20s.
This is a job. You work your job until you retire with your job, why can’t an escort have a career and retire? What is the difference?
