You've heard super star and newly minted billionaire Taylor Swift is dating Chiefs TE Travis Kelce and has been attending Chiefs games and hanging out with Brittany Mahomes, wife of Patrick, and other WAGs. But when the Chiefs lost to the Raiders at home, some blamed her for being a distraction. A few lunatics went as far as calling her Yoko Ono :D But the Chiefs were 4-3 before TS and 6-3 after TS. So she is definitely a positive for the Chiefs. And the NFL is giddy with love for her as Swifties are tuning in to the NFL in droves and buying Chiefs garments. In case you didnt know, Swifties are the millions who are fans of Taylor Swift. To make her welcome, Chiefs ownership even gifted her an expensive birthday gift and the daughters posed for pictures with her. And Patrick Mahomes officially proclaimed her a member of Chiefs Kingdom. Nupials in the works? Stay tuned.

Dolphins versus Bills is the last match of the regular season on Sunday with significant implications. The Dolphins are already in the playoffs. But a win secures the AFC East and the number 2 seed with the potential for at least 2 home games (Wild card and divisional round). A win by the Bills makes them AFC East champs and a 2 or 3 seed. If they lose, they can gain a wild card only via a loss by the Steelers or loss by the Jaguars. I am not getting into the tie options. Tua Tagovailoa vs Josh Allen. Tyreek Hill versus Stephon Diggs. Salivating

There is a big incentive for the Bills to win - Home field advantage in the first round, easier opponent and you never know what the weather will be like in Buffalo.

The Panthers traded up with the Bears in the 2023 draft for the number one pick and selected Bryce Young. The Texans selected CJ Stroud with the number 2 pick. While questions persist as to whether the 5' 10" Young is an NFL QB, there is no question CJ Stroud belongs. He went with his team to Indianapolis for a matchup with the Colts with a playoff spot on the line. His first play - bomb, 75 yard touchdown. And that set the tone as the Texans defeated the Colts 23-19 for at worst a wild card spot. Congratulations to CJ Stroud, first year HC DeMeco Ryans and the Texans

In 2015, CJ Stroud dad was sentenced to 38 years in prison for carjacking, kidnapping and aggravated assault. The harsh sentence was because it was his 2nd offence. But still 38 years??? Wow! The QBs mom rented a shack on top of a storage unit and worked her butt off to feed CJ and his 3 siblings. Mom the hero 👏

Mike Shanahan was the HC of the Redskins (now Commanders) in 2013. His son Kyle was the OC. Matt Lafleur was the QB coach. Sean McVay was the TE coach. Mike McDaniel was the WR coach. Bobby Slowik was a defensive quality coach. Fast forward to 2024. Kyle Shanahan is HC at 49ers, Matt Lafleur is Packers HC, Sean McVay is Rams HC, Mike McDaniel is Dolphins HC and Bobby Slowik is OC at Texans. What an incredible Shanahan coaching tree! Similar to the Mike Holmgren coaching tree at Green Bay that produced Andy Reid, Jay Gruden and others.

Ravens versus Steelers. Jadeveon Clowney registered his 9.5th sack of the season and broke into a rain celebration. Reason? His contract called for a $750,000 bonus if he got 9 sacks. 👏 :D

Arthur Smith HC of the Falcons has been fired.
Ron Rivera HC and defacto GM of the Commanders has been fired
Panthers GM Scott Fitterer has been fired. So those responsible for the Bryce Young debacle (including HC Frank Reich) have both been fired.

HC vacancies to date: Raiders, Chargers, Commanders, Falcons, Panthers

The Raiders will remove the interim tag from Antonio Pierce and make him their new HC. He has done a hell of a job out there. Bill Belichick still hanging in there. But for how long? As the defacto GM, none of his QB picks outside of the GOAT has panned out. As the HC, he seems out of his depth these days. I predict parting of the ways by "mutual agreement."

I heard that of the last 32 players that he has picked in the 1st 3 rounds, not one was signed to a second contract.

I wonder what odds I can get on Browns/Lions SB? LOL An all Lake Erie game.
Right now , it's 130:1 odds . . . .
Just in case TERB thinks I'm promoting / advertising , I'm not : On one of the top 3 sites , Bills are getting 25.5 points vs PITT , moving spread promo. Max $ 25 bet

I rate the Rams as the #1 team in the NFC. They are probably the only team that can take down San Fran. The Cowboys caught some huge breaks with the refs horrible screw up against Detroit and then the Rams beating the 49ers last second in the backups game. Green Bay isn't good enough to win in Dallas but the Rams are. Decent chance now to see the Rams going to Dallas for the NFC championship. If Detroit wins they get their revenge game in Dallas - wouldn't that be ironic given the week 17 game and the last time the Lions played in the playoffs.
