Just curious what the popular custom is.

I see some reviews where people bring chocolate or wine to the appointment even if it’s the first time seeing the sp. I wonder how prevalent it is and if the gesture is appreciated by the sp’s in such a way that it materially improves the service provided.

Also, is the general assumption that we tip like we do with restaurants, 15% etc? Or a quick $20 after the session will suffice? If I already paid upfront how do I give the tip? After I pull my pants back up do I flip out a 20 out and throw it on the bed as I’m tightening my belt up?
I tip service staff at least 15 percent if they can even look me in the eyes and even fake smile so truly I think that’s the starting point even for this. It’s her body you’re entering in various forms. Your tip is hopefully going to some sort of therapy -physical and mental

I actually paid once with Raptor tickets (her son big Raptor fan) and another time with Leaf tickets when they were playing the Habs (she was/is a big Habs fan). Those tickets were worth more than their posted rates.
As in paid the rate and additionally gave tickets as a gift /tip I hope

I've done all of these mainly as an experiment especially when I first started seeing SPs to see if the service would be better, if restrictions are still there, etc.

In almost all cases, the service was not better, None of my ATFs came from doing any of these. Restrictions was still there, a memorable example would be Lilly from Mirage (VIP), one of the first Agency girls I ever saw many years ago. She was facially attractive and her body was incredible so just off appearance in person I really wanted a great session so tipped additionally at the start only to find out she only does safe services after. Most disappointing session, never tipped at the start of a session ever again.

For some regulars, if it's around Christmas time or my birthday or some special occasion I'm celebrating I sometimes buy some chocolate. If I'm also waiting around and end up at the location earlier and there's stores nearby I may buy some chocolate.

There were even times I tipped after a really amazing session and then next session was terrible, so I stopped doing that as well.

Most of the time however I don't do any of these anymore, reality is most of the girls won't remember you and there's no real benefit to wasting your time and effort into doing these things and ending up disappointed if you're hoping for a better session from doing these things.

Hey at 5 bucks a minute, closer to 8 buck a minute if you are talking the play time, I think the compensation is adequate.

I make $30 an hour after tax, so I value the fruit of my labour. Every time I spend any money, I have to think if I'm getting screwed. With inflation so high and a lot less disposable income, cannot afford to be wasteful, which means I'm also not a sucker that makes another trip to buy a gift.

I tipped when I was a few years younger, but my attitude had since changed, these days I won't throw away even $20. I mostly book one hour sessions and if I like the lady, I book more sessions. Of course ladies like generous clients, I like it when people give me free money too. It's human nature.

These are the scenarios you can waste money when you tip:

1. You don't want to see the lady again, which is like 90% of the time for me. I don't build rapport.

2. The lady quits the industry soon after the session, which happens to a lot of young hotties I want to see again.

3. The lady won't offer you a particular service even after giving generous tips. I once tipped this hot girl $80 on top of a $300 session, and she won't even let me do her doggystyle because she's not comfortable with it.

I hold them with high regard, the same as my dentist and GPs, I don’t tip my dental hygienists. I do occasionally gift a pearl necklace though.

You’d be surprised how much of the gifts get thrown in trash. I had a guest’s gift of pizza and chocolates (that the sp did liked, but she wasn’t in the mood to eat it). So she offered it to me and I ate it. I just tip cash if it’s a regular, as I know that’s what they love the most (if it wasn’t obvious).

Wait a second here. Isn't it the service provider who is suppose to tip the paying customer? My stockbroker always sends me a fruit basket every Christmas. Our company's lawyers/accountants invites me to lunch on a fairly regular basis. I also get Leaf/Raptor/Blue Jay tickets on a regular basis from my or the company's service providers.

I think some of you guys have it backwards.
I believe this is called "customer appreciation".

Don't see it very much in this industry. Usually it's the providers trolling for gifts on Twitter, etc.

I get a wall calendar every year from my financial advisor. I never hear from my lawyer (which I take to be a good thing). Did get invited to a corporate box for a Raptors game by one of my company's financial institutions - that was sweet.

Got a very special Christmas present from one SW a few years ago. Gawd I miss her. She retired and moved away.

All I know in my experiences, a little something extra, whether it is cash or food or drink, can reap benefits far beyond the value of what was provided. Mind you, it probably depends on who you are as a person and more importantly, what type of person she is.

I knew one very popular women and she would receive many gifts including flowers. She always displayed them. Never knew her to just toss them away. She really appreciated them. And with everything she received from clients, if she didn’t like them, she would give to her friends as they could use them much more than her.
