Bringing gifts to sessions and leaving tips

Wait a second here. Isn't it the service provider who is suppose to tip the paying customer? My stockbroker always sends me a fruit basket every Christmas. Our company's lawyers/accountants invites me to lunch on a fairly regular basis. I also get Leaf/Raptor/Blue Jay tickets on a regular basis from my or the company's service providers.

I think some of you guys have it backwards.

Do they screw you too? Couldn't resist.

Hey Philip! While we have you on the line, care to comment on the SP angle vis a vis tipping? Certainly the ladies might enjoy a little extra but there different strokes, as the saying goes. For example, have you had girls boast about a tip or bitch that they didn't get one or even mention the subject at all? Of course this could be a minefield so not expecting the National Enquurer here.

The OP asked what the local custom is and you'd seem to be someone who might provide some guidance. The guy you're dialoging with doesn't speak for everyone. I myself have left a tip on occasion.

How are you? Well, I have not driven for TP in many years. When I did I would definitely hear about tipping firsthand. I do not seem to recall complaints about non-tipping. And definitely to this day, I still hear about extravagant gifting.

I used to see a fairly popular SP, now retired , rule was flowers in the trash, never touch anything open, both chocolate and booze, nothing went home except cold hard Cash!!
